Guy's its still gonna be a great live site. Yes. I'd rather Fed Square, but i work for a company (not naming names) that will be involved in the setup of this live site. And today saw a map of the set up. 4 Big Screens, one in each corner. Bars, Food, Undercover areas. It's really gonna be fitted out. It's gonna be one hell of a live site

Four Screens is nice.. Hope they have a few screens up at the one in Sydney so the other games can be on as well.

So if Fed square can't hold 15,000 how many can fit in this other place?? Will there be any problems with capcity?

Fed Square can hold 15,000 but is only safe at 10,000. I know i don't get it either but that's according to Fed Square CEO Kate Brennan. This new live site is meant to hold up to 30,000 people.

And yes the Sydney live site will have multiple screens, but am unsure about the multiple games at one time, that is to do with SBS Broadcasting Rights and the rights of an official FIFA Live Site

Don't know if there are any FIFA regulations that wouldn't allow it though.

The point really is that Melbourne has a pro-Sydney agenda pushed on it daily by media of all kinds. That adds to the dislike, plus the added smart ass comments made by Sydneysiders to provoke a reaction. Unfortunately, the frustration gets a reaction. Melbourne is a great city and also deserves respect.

Its great Sydney got the WC Live event though. Darling Harour is a good site.

it just shows though that the Melbourne event is also a very popular, and will likely get just as many or even more than the Sydsney one does, particularly with the added space. There is huge support here in this city for such events.

I did not go to the last WC screenings at Fed Square because of the crowds that were crammed into the area. This time I will be headed in to see it because of the move. It is only a couple of hundred metres away from the Fed square site anyway.

Heart Fan; just fun to stir you guys up sometimes. On a serious note though its good to see that the respective city councils are getting their arses into gear and catering for a bigger crowd with, what sounds like, great facilities.

Was at Circular Quay in Sydney for the last world cup but it all seemed like it was put together at the last minute, so it's nice to see alot of planning going into this one. I suppose it shows how much the game has come along.
