Not having a dig but do any of you Ockers think that spending this long in Africa before the Cup isn't necessarily a good thing?

Often when sports teams go to Africa they struggle with keeping themselves fresh because of the security and things of the like... Obviously once the cup starts it wont be to bad but 2 and a half weeks prior will stretch out.

Are your games at sea level or altitude?

Extra time for acclimatisation is important. Many international teams struggle with the altitude in some parts of SA. Our games against Serbia and Ghana are at altitude, particularly the Ghana game in Rustenburg.

Pim is thinking of winning the first game. That's the type of mentality they, and us supporters, need to have, good to see.

Camp is at altitude. Security will be fine. Socceroos will be isolated and will stick to a program designed by sports scientists and Pim. We will beat the Americans, draw the Danish and qualify to play the Americans again, provided Holman doesn't start.
