More Game Time For City Winger

Richard Garcia was handed another chance to impress ahead of the World Cup when Australia faced the USA at the weekend.

Unfortunately, the City midfielder couldn't prevent his side from falling to a 3-1 defeat, a result that brought to an end the Socceroos' seven-match unbeaten run.

But Garcia was able to gain further match fitness and will now hope he has done enough to earn a place in the side when Australia face Germany in their first group match next Sunday.
