What do you think about the FourFourTwo article 'Germany Will Miss Ballack'?
BUNDESLIGA based Socceroo Dario Vidosic believes Australia's group opponents Germany will miss injured skipper Michael Ballack but says their youthful side is still very strong.

Have your say.

If Australia lost Neill we would lose 5-0 nil. Germany have lost Ballack were still probably going to lose.

Not to mention Lahm is a fantastic player and so far he has shown that he has what it takes to be captain.

Our best hope is if the young germans get a bit overawed and our old heads keep their cool and keep their defensive structure. If we can keep a clean sheet for as long as possible, their fans will start to get anxious and the presure will start to mount on their young shoulders.
This is our best hope.

That's not going to happen. The German players seem to lift a level when they are under pressure.

The U-19's and U-21's are a perfect example. Matthias Sammer told them they have to go out and win the Euro's and both did. German players just have this mentality that is different to anyone else. They handle pressure like nobody ever has before. That's why they are so good in penalty shootouts. And that mentality is drilled into them from a young age.
