About to chill and watch The Expendables.

Watched half of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince today, might eventually check the 2nd half soon lol.

You'll like the Expendables if you just like gory non stop action movies:lol: the storyline is non-existent which is understandable considering Stallone wrote it:lol:

went and saw Wall Street... and it was ummm, well the first 110mins where alright, good, not brilliant but the acting was good, i had some problems with the music choices and some of the editing but was an enjoyable popcorn flick with one of the best film characters of all time and Carey Mulligan (such a crush), but the last 15mins is just like whhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaa? like since when did Oliver Stone turn into a pussy, this was the guy who made Natural Born Killers and he's just done that, fuck disappointing

Avatar and Titanic are awesome movies, and there are heaps of animated movies i love. When i was a of a smaller age we all loved Toy Story, so it was only right to watch no.3 after waiting all those years :)

dont care what the personality of the director or producer is of the film, i care about the actual film, and how is Cameron a douche you pencil

Terminator and Alien films were brilliant, the abyss was a fucking toilet of a film and tbh Avatar, aesthetically and visually it was quite incredible, but the plot itself is just Fern Gully on steroids, abit of a wank... this pencil shit is just getting old, nobody gets it, and nobody actually finds it funny after your tirade of it in the story thread

As Doc said, Avatar is just Fern Gully roided up and is the most cliched piece of shit on the earth. Titanic wasn't much better, went for waaay to long.

JUst watched MacGruber yesterday and The Social Network the other day. Enjoyed MacGruber was well worth the watch, and the Social Network was great.

It's been done a million fucking times. Watch Fern Gully and I swear you think you're watching Avatar minus the smurfs. It's such a cliched storyline which gets forgotten behind all the special effects.

Avatar is abysmal except for the visuals, which are stunning, and I tried to watch Titanic and it was so unwatchably awful that I had to switch it off after about 45 minutes. I always suffer through bad movies and THEN say they're terrible - couldn't do it this time.

Watched Titanic when I was like 8, sat there for like 2 hours wondering when the boat was gonna sink and cheered like a madmen when it hit the iceberg. Also loved seeing all the people fall and get munched by propellers:lol: :twisted:

+1 Aliens was brilliant as well. Regarding James Cameron; apparently he's a bit of a dick to work with.

I like Avatar, it's a good movie-not the best I've ever seen but a decent film nonetheless.

What I can't understand is the massive wank-fest people have over inception. Sure it was a good film but it wasn't THAT good. I'd take Toy Story 3 over inception any day.

Inception was just phwoar, in the detail, the actual concept of the film, the acting, and the aesthetics was just brilliant... Christopher Nolan, now there's a director, and not just The Dark Knight, his track record is pretty good (if you take out Insomnia it's pretty flawless)... while i think Toy Story is working of nostalgia abit, although note i haven't seen TS3

SydCro... haven't seen Social Network but been looking forward to it for awhile because Aaron Sorkin worked on it (the guy who wrote my favourite long running tv series, 10 internetz to guess what... no googleing)... is Timberlake as good as people saying he is? Oscar Nom.?

Toy Story 3 and Inception are my two favourite movies of the year - make of that what you will.

toy story 3's heyday was when i was a little kid, and i loved it, now i am older but i still eagurly awaited Toy Story 3
