Sounds like The Defiant Ones - I only know it because of NCIS. But that had Sidney Poitier in it. It's from 1958

I fucking love Fear & Loathing

He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

Wouldn't say excellent, thought it was good but not brilliant, like there wasn't anything wrong with it but it's not a movie that's going to stick with me

Have watched three movies in the last 24 hours.
1st one was the Uninvited. Not bad. Not terrifying, but had a couple of moments which made me jump, moments where i was expecting the obvious to happen and it didn't occur. The ending was fantastic as well, although when i thought about it some things didn't make sense.
Also saw One Missed Call. Not that great, but still interesting to figure out.
Saw Narnia today. Not that bad, but not that great. Worst out of the series.

The Japanese version or the US version?

Only seen the US version. I'm not one to actually bother going to get foreign movies, I dont like watching movies in other languages. Or poorly dubbed English.

Yeah, I bet there is, but the thing is when i'm watching a foreign film and its all subtitles and other languages, I tend to tune out and lose concentration.

Re-watched Cloverfield. Awesome as usual, my favourite and hottest women in it as well as the best character ever made (Hud!)

All Cloverfield did was give me motion sickness. That handheld jerky camera stuff just makes me sick. :-&

That and the panning spinning camera shots in Transformers 2 (but to be fair I was in VMAX in the second row)

Watched a film called "Funny Games" a few days ago. Wasnt bad, some interesting moments in it, and some surprising moments. 6.5/10

Saw 127 Hours yesterday. It delivered, though there werent any real great moments in the flick. I'd give it a 7.5/10

Watched "Expendables" today. Had half a chuckle on a few occasions, and the movie was somewhat enjoyable in ways.
5.5/10

Also just finishing watching the tv series "Boardwalk Empire". This show is epic and delivers completely, and from what I've seen, it's on its way up there to becoming great like Sopranos and The Wire.
8.5/10

I watched Megamind the other night. I didn't think it was that bad, Will Ferrell wasn't overly obnocious, Brad Pitt was lulz, Ben Stiller was hardly noticable...then I realised, it was exatly like EVERY OTHER Will Ferrell movie ever made...just animated.

I'm intrigued. It looks decent, but then these movies always do, and they just end up being so Yank Chest Beating bullshit. Still, it looks like it has some darker qualities to it than your average action/alien film.

Also, always good to see Michelle Rodriguez reprise her role as a snappy, angry latin chick in a man's Army/Police Force/SWAT Team.

Also Also, Now pumping RATM, so at least it's worth something for that.

Saw Inception for the first time last night, loved every second of it. The visuals were stunning and the whole concept was intriguing, I'm glad I held off watching it whilst I had been drinking cos it really does require your full attention and wits

Worst premise for a movie EVER. Wouldn't pay for it. Wouldn't waste my downloads on it.

Looks like Independence day meets Cloverfield...I'm going to say they spent all their budget on special effects and went with a b-grade soundtrack instead of getting fucked in the arse by Sony records.
