Rabbit Hole was a bit too much emotionally speaking for me, but it had great value in the story it was telling.

I'm finding that I'm getting softer as I get older. I find it incredibly hard to deal with family oriented tragedies - especially watching fathers attempt to deal with their emotional connections and losses. I cried like a baby in My Sisters Keeper.

Yep, wasn't great. Just that bit with the Dad taking his dying daughter to the beach and giving her a cuddle... I dunno.

I can't wait for Red State. What makes it even more exciting is Kevin Smith makes no secret about the fact that he has been cutting & editing Red State when he's completely baked out of his brain.

Although it's not a movie, just watched the whole first season of True Blood. Overall 6.5/10, not as good or intense as Dexter IMO but still really watchable. Only really starting good when Lizzy Caplan came in in ep 7, needless to say ep 11 was not my favourite for obvious reasons

He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

Red State looks interesting. I dunno if I'll see it though.

I attempted to watch The Reaping last night. It might have been because I was tired, but I really found it hard to follow. I gave up.

Just finished season 2 of True Blood. About as good as the first, a lot less humour and innocence though

(Warning: Never get attached to any character in that TV series, they are bound to die horribly)

I'm keen to see this, more so just to see if Smith can actually pull off making a film that doesnt boast any dick and fart jokes. Looks promising.

I saw Black Swan the other day. Brilliantly directed, and theres some real chilling visuals in it.
Has a splash of a shutter Island feel and pace to it, and some might say it's a little slow paced, but I never tire of seeing Natalie Portman.

8/10

Honestly cried when Lizzy Caplan died and also when it was hinted that Lafayette would also

You ever watched it?

Nah but keen to, once I finish all my other TV shows.

But I ALWAYS get too attached to TV characters and then get mega upset and annoyed when things don't go how I wanted them to. Like when Chuck and Blair broke up :( And on this Spanish show on YouTube I'm watching :(

Layfayette died pretty early on in the books. The show has made some fairly huge turns away from the storyline in terms of characters, but has managed to keep the general feel and themes.

The show gets much better when the King of Mississippi gets involved.

There should be, a good series trumps most movies imo.

On another note though, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels was on 7mate last night, forgot how bloody good it was

Such an awesome movie. Even if it's so predictable and so very centric to Guy Ritchie's style...it's awesome.
