Aww that puppy is so cute! And it's the type of movie I was wanting to see, nothing to deep and serious, just a whole lot of giant robot/alien machines fighting and blowing up things. Plus I loved the first Transformers.

Tom Cruise returns in Mission Impossible 4

IT'S been five years since Ethan Hunt was last seen on our screens chasing down bad guys and saving his skin.

But he's back - stronger and fitter than ever and still swinging from heart-stopping heights with little more than a rope and his wits keeping him company.

And while he may only be a year shy of turning 50, there's no stopping Tom Cruise, as he returns as the spy in the fourth installment of the Mission: Impossible franchise.

The first official trailer for the new film, Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, has hit the web and promises more explosions, more heart-in-the-mouth stunts and even some humour courtesy of actor Simon Pegg.

And once again, ever the adrenaline junkie, Cruise, who turns 49 on Sunday, insisted on performing his own stunts.

Mission Impossible 4 opens in Australia on December 15.

More superfluous sequels? It's bad enough that Tom Cruise is in the film, let alone the plot-holes in all the prequels.

Saw Bridesmaids at the movies today. Was thinking about going to see HP - but the moment I saw the line snaking out of George St. Movies and up towards the KFC, full of screaming, hysterical 16-year sluts, and 17 year old gay guys dressed up as Harry Potter waving twigs around yelling out spells and incarnations, I decided that I'd go see it, when School has resumed and the teenie-boppers and safely secured in a classroom!

Bridesmaids is actually quite funny. One of the few romantic comedies I've enjoyed.

Whenever there's a popular movie on I want to go see in the opening week I usually go to the first morning session on a Sunday, never anybody around but when you come out you have to fight you way through the crowds queueing for the midday session

Cannot wait for those two movies. The first Sherlock Holmes was brilliant, but The Dark Knight Rises...most anticipated film of next year. Looking forward to it so much, The Dark Knight is my favorite movie. Luckily, i have every faith in Chris and Johnathon Nolan to deliver another fucking amazing batman.

This.

Seeing Harry Potter on Saturday. Gonna be sad, I'll have nothing consistently to look forward to.

Saw Transformers today. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Dragged along a fair bit, but not bad. Better than the 2nd one at least. Would've been even better if it actually had a plot and
they hadn't FUCKING KILLED OFF IRONHIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT. THE. FUCK. MICHAEL BAY, YOU DOUCHEBAG, HE WAS MY FAVORITE AFTER OPTIMUS, AND YOU HAD TO GO AND GET SENTINEL PRIME TO DECAPITATE HIM YOU MONSTER
No idea whether this is official or not...there are some clips from previous movies in it, but everything I've heard is true appears in this trailer.

I agree however I just couldn't shake the feeling that from the pensieve scene onwards I would have done things differently and been more true to the book if I were directing.
How they could leave out Fred's death scene and the reunion with Percy is beyond me, I remember that as one of the more emotive moments in the books for me and thought there was potential for cinematic license to make this a brilliant scene. Similarly Harry leaving Hogwarts under the invisibility cloke and fighting the urge to say goodbye whilst being torn apart by grief at witnessing the destruction caused in his name would have been brilliant on the big screen. I remember having a lump in my throat reading about Hagrid carrying Harry's body back in tears and the anguished reactions of the Order and co but it just seemed so sudden in the film. Almost got teary during the ressurection stone scnes though, that was perfect
