So I watched Birdman, still didn't think it was that much of a trailer blazer for this movie season. I honestly thought Edward did a much better job in it. -PB

Just watched 'Filth' last night. Best film I've seen in a long time. So raw and a disturbing but fucking brilliant also. James McAvoy was awesome https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tymWDB7gtK4

THE TWO-PART MOVIE VERSION OF STEPHEN KING'S IT WILL BE MORE VICIOUS THAN THE MINISERIES 1.6k "I'm every nightmare you've ever had." BY RACHEL HAASFor those wondering what New Line plans to do with its upcoming reboot of Stephen King's It, get ready for something "very scary." In an interview with EW, producer Seth Grahame-Smith revealed that the two-part film adaptation of King's 1986 creepy-clown novel "will bring back some of the viciousness of the book that they couldn’t do with the [1990 TV] miniseries because it was for broadcast. I think it’s going to be very scary, but I also feel like you’ve got [True Detective's] Cary [Fukunaga] who is going to direct these kids -- and he’s incredible at casting, incredible at shooting. He’s incredible with tone and atmosphere. One of the things I wanted to do is be a part of one of the really good King adaptations. As we know, there is an echelon of King adaptations that are classics. There are some that are okay. There are some that we’d rather forget.” Top 10 Stephen King Movies 02:31 The 1990 miniseries starred Tim Curry as Pennywise the clown, as well as Dennis Christopher, John Ritter, and Annette O'Toole. There's no word yet on the casting of this new adaptation, but production is expected to begin this summer. Fukunaga is directing the first installment, about a group of kids who band together against an evil force, while part two sees the kids returning to their hometown as adults. Grahame-Smith also offered an update on the timing of the film, saying, “We’re going to get a draft, what is supposed to be the shooting [script], any day now from Cary and his writing partner. We’re doing a deal for them to write the second movie. Our hope is to prep sometime in the next few months and shoot in the summer. That one is as much on the runway as we can possibly be. I know New Line is ready to go.” IGN Logo http://au.ign.com/articles/2015/01/27/the-two-part-movie-version-of-stephen-kings-it-will-be-more-vicious-than-the-miniseries

Finally got around to watching Captain America Winter Soldier last night. Holy shit I didn't expect it to be that good. Arguably the best superhero movie I've watched outside of the Dark Knight trilogy. So freaking good!
How unnecessary and random was it to have Abed from Community have a cameo though

I do love how we've gotten to the point where Batman v Superman has a teaser trailer for it's teaser trailer.

Should be good, they have done an immense job tying the whole Marvel Cinematic Universe together so far with films, shows and shorts. It's pretty incredible that they have been able to maintain the integrity of the universe whilst still having a huge variety of themes and genres in the output. Ant-Man is the first of a huge expansion into some of the Golden Oldies of the roster (Dr Strange was essentially a creation of some Marvel writers on acid in the 70's). Although Hank Pym (the original Ant-Man, Michael Douglas) is a bit of a douche, I'd expect Rudd to make this one of the funniest Marvel movies so far. Hard to best Guardians of the Galaxy in terms of humour maybe, but it'll still be funny.
