France are shit. this current crop at least. I doubt they'll advance. What do you think about the FourFourTwo article Stalemate For Les Bleus & Uruguay? FRANCE endured another lacklustre start to a World Cup campaign as they were unable to find a way past Uruguay in Cape Town.Have your say.

It's all Domenech. Any decent manager could make this side a formidable one. He's one of the worst coaches out there.

Na, all the French players had a really good match and outclassed all teh URgay players except for my man Forlan of the mighty Atleti. But they were all played out of position and Domenech made bad substitutions. He took Anelka off for Henry when France were easily absorbing the URgay attack and a DM should have come off to multiply the attack and give the talented Anelka support. He also kept on some idiot nobody in central attack way too long when Malouda could have been in. France could easily have won the game. Luckily for me ( I have money on a string of draws in a multiple on Betfair) Domenech is a fracking idiiiiiot. On the other hand URgay were very effectively organised and made the utmost of their limited talents. The 2 games I've seen so far give me great hopes for us, and the Kiwis. We actually all play really great footy as teams compared to the dross of the 1st 2 games. Come on Aussie, come on Kiwi! But the South Koreans must be the dark horses... don't be surprised to see them advancing a long way this time. Probably further than the Kiwis.

How about the irony of henry appealing for handball what a cockhead, I hope France fail to make it to the 2nd round because of some wrong handball decision against them that would be so sweet

From what I saw of the highlights Forlan was unlucky not to score.

I'll take the draw. First half was ok. France should of opened the scoring in the 7th minute, Uruguay didn't really have that much chances at all. Second half Uruguay should of probably scored through Forlan.
Bring on South Africa now!

Sure you were watching the right game Neasden? I was watching the first half after taping it and Anelka was woeful to say the least. Not sure if it's the ball or some forwards from the first two games playing ordinary, but I guess we'll have to wait for Messi, Ronaldo, Rooney, Kaka, or whoever else to see the real class.

Bring on South Africa now! crunch games coming for Uruguay but there all winable which is important... i've got Uruguay in my mates predictions as the tournament's surprise (not that South Africa surprise either)... they should get out but will have to improve... fingers crossed Mexico knock off France

What a drabble it was for 90- minutes. If the French manager wasn't hurling water bottles at his players post-match, he should be!!! How much time do you wanna give France to score. 90 minutes isn't enough? How Uruguay didn't concede, i'll never know, they'll walk away from this feeling like they took the 3 points. France didn't deserve their point. Forlan was best on park for Uruguay, but aside from that, especially in the first half looked almost uninterested, they were sloppy, they gave away easy possession, at times it was hit-and hope, they they stupidly went down a man - that'll hurt Uruguay in the tournement. Although if both teams play they way they did against South Africa and Mexico respectivly, they're not going to get out of the group.
WOLLONGONG WOLVES FOR A-LEAGUE EXPANSION!

seriously what is Domenech doing? he is asking to be the most hated person after Bin Laden
when i saw the starting line up for the game i thought to myself that its a bit weak. why wouldnt you start Malouda whos been in excellent form for Chelsea
i wouldve had Malouda out on the left and Ribery playing behind Anelka as the attacking midfielder.
Gourcuff was pretty useless and his shot turned throw was a perfect indication of the influence he had on the game. Govou isnt worthy of wearing the number 10 for france, i thought he did nothing in the game
i was impressed with Toulalan, his defending was solid and he broke up a lot of Uruguay attacks. and Ribery also had a poor game...shouldve been in the middle running at defenders causing all sorts of problems.
0-0 a fair indication of how the game was played with barely any shots on target.
credit to Uruguay as well, they defended well and were organised but couldnt connect with the attacking players to really cause any problems. __________________

France are fucked, really hoped Uraguay would win, even if they did look slow and comical. Way to many errors, same can be said about the frogs. They dominated but could not finish them off. Arrogant fucks, looked and acted as they were gods gift. Hope they crash out in straight sets

Referees these days should be on the ball enough to spot a handball, so if France were denied because of a handball it would be an injustice on France's world cup dream.

After the spectacle that was the opening game, this was a rather tired and boring affair. The first half in particular didn't have much going for it. Suarez needs to time his runs a little better for Uraguay and I think France were saved a bit by Evra's involvement.

and also fuk henry the wanker, he is the last player who has the right to put his hand up calling a handball. The fukn hypocrite cunt, sick of these wankers, domenech is a complete joke, remarkble really how hes even a manager.
How does a normal man no pick Nasri in his squad. Hes clearly asking to be hated.
