South American minnows? Yes agree in, that Paraguay have not won anything, but they did not finish 2nd to the mighty Brazil in South American qualifying by being minnows...
What do you think about the FourFourTwo article
Para-Tie Forza Champs...
?
DEFENDING champions Italy had to come from behind to salvage a 1-1 draw in their World Cup Group F opener against Paraguay in Cape Town.
Have your say.

Italy actually played better than the result indicates, which is good, since usually it's the other way around.

Italy dominated almost the entire game, just couldn't break down the organised wall of defence of Paraguay. Lacking something in attack which hopefully is rectified in the coming games.

Good to see not the normal Italian bashing and some intelligent observation. I agree Italy dominated although are still lacking some class up front i feel. I would still see them winning it again though.

They finished third. But still agree hardly South American minnows.

The article probably refers to the fact they haven't ever progressed past the 2nd round in their 8 attempts. And half the time they don't get out of the group.

They are lacking Totti up front! :P Hopefully we can push for first place in the group.

yes ryan and not only totti. What about cassano and balotelli?
Lippi thinks to be a genius, and win without technique players....
