Mark, it's not so much that we lost but the style (or lack of)and margin that we lost by. Frankly we got off lightly it could easily have been 6-8 nil, so to say the soccerooos are where everyone expected us to be is more than a little inaccurate. I just hope that with the influence of experience the boys can rally, run faster and put in a redeeming performance otherwise we will be remembered from this WC as being far less than what we can be.

May the Schwarz be with you. Good stuff. Morale must be rock bottom in the camp after a thrashing like that. Restoring faith and a sense of self belief is really important if we are to pick up against Ghana and Serbia. Schwarzer, Cahill, Kewell and Emmo need to step up and lead the team.

Neill, Chipperfield and Moore should be required to stand in the corner and think about what they should and shouldn't have done for the rest of the week.

Mark you did your best in the situation that the team was put in. It has to go through 10 other players. I feel for you and understand any frustration, I too am a goalie for hockey and know what type of pressure we are under to save goals that should of never got to you in the first place.
