I hate Ronaldo, but I wish his long range shot went in! That would have been the goal of the tournament!

What do you think about the FourFourTwo article Draw-gba Back Against Portugal?
CRISTIANO Ronaldo was denied by the woodwork as Portugal and Ivory Coast had to make do with a point apiece in Port Elizabeth.

Have your say.

Yep, Ronaldo is a complete tool, as evidenced by his booking. Every time a player comes to challenge him, his first movement is to skip up and sideways in order to make a dramatic fall at the slightest hint of contact.
Still, it would have been a great goal.

Well I'm a supporter of Portugal, but I just can't believe the amount of times he has a cry after being tackled. There were countless examples where if C.Ron stood up he would've had a chance at winning the ball back, but instead he was on the ground with his hands in the air.

Ivory Coast were great, and I think they will be the one's to get out of the group, along with obviously Brazil.

Well it makes it interesting now, it comes down to who will fuck of North Korea the most and get least fucked by Brazil.
However an interesting not is that CIV will play a full strength Brazil in 5 days and if Brazil win they will look to rest some key players for the Portugal game- making it easier for Portugal to get a result.

My tip is with Portugal progressing (but maybe that's because im wearing my 3D glasses:p )

Thank God Ronaldo didn't score, he dived about 10 times that game.

In addition to Ronaldo the other divers have been from Germany.

WTF is with the stronger teams, that don't need to lower themselves to simulation, are the ones doing it?

It's the one thing that still bothers me about football. Please FIFA fix this. Red cards instead of yellow would help.

That Turkish ref that we had against Germany would have had a field day in this game

It is a big issue though, but i don't think red cards are the answer. I think its just down to the individual players, they have to take responsibility for themselves and hopefully show a bit more respect to the game.

Fixed.

I don't think it's just down to individual players. It's also what is acceptable in the country you have grown up in. In countries like Portugal and various South American countries, whilst growing up they have seen their footballing heroes diving, so they do the same. In Scotland however, diving is something that will get you put on the bench for the next game.

However, if FIFA increased the punishment, they'd change pretty quick!
