France, well they made it hard for themselves. Laugh all you want guys but France have potential. Lots of talented individuals there but they are not a team.

Lots of egos is the problem. And it's too much, Domenech's ego, Ribery's, Henry's, Gourcuff's, Anelka's...would have been even worse with Benzema added as well.

Actually Holland got in first, and Brazil also got in before them.

Shame for South Africa, they made a better show of it than would have been expected after the Confed Cup.

After the Confed Cup I'd say some people would have expected them to go through in this group. Especially after narrowly losing against Brazil to an 87th min Alves freekick and losing in extra time to Spain.

WC in Africa is a jk there is a good chance not one African team will make it to the 2nd round. All Africans are arrogent saying how they are a better confederation im loving it so much they will probably lose a WC to Asia or the americas if Japan can make it to the next round with South Korea.

OK, somebody has to say it........ To beat the Irish the cheating bastard way that you did, you at least owed it to them (and to everybody else) to give your all. You have been an insult to Football, the World Cup and at a time when you needed to show your true sporting colours, you just crumble in a pool of ego's and prove to the world that you SHOULDN'T have been there and that you DIDN'T justify the 'luck' that came your way, that got you there in the first place.

In the first minutes both teams showed they were not going to play for the draw, even after saying it for the past few days. The way Tabarez set up the team again was just brilliant. Uruguay had their chances in the first half, so did Mexico. Tbh, it could of been 2-1 at half time to Uruguay if it was not for poor finishing by Suarez in his first opportunity, and the crossbar. And Mexico should of been level with the header that just went wide in the second half, but there is no argument that Uruguay fully deserved that Victory.

Round of 16 clash now against South Korea. I think we have a real chance of making it to the quarters.
