Genuinely thinking of finally making the switch to PC this year (Because Fallout). Got no problem actually assembling the thing but totally lost figuring out which manufacturers are best and where to buy etc.

Having both, unless you're a massive fan of Halo/Gears of War and Forza the PS4 is the better console.

Whatever your mates have really, I had an Xbox but swapped because of that reason and I found it boring on my own (even though I don't play online against my mates all that often, I just like being able to). Xbox is good for Ultimate team because lower prices and legends, PS4 on the other hand I feel is more of like a console for the casual gamer while the xbox is more hardcore.

I always hated fps games with the playstation controller. having said that I've never used a 360 controller.

Genuinely can't decide which new gen controller feels better in my hands. Both have their advantages and disadvantages.

Can you guys give me a second opinion? Leaning towards the PS4, but while it's controller isn't bad (it's actually quite alright), it just doesn't have that snug feeling the 360 controller has.

I remember crying when I realised how much of a waste of money Manx TT was for Sega saturn.

Finally got around to playing The Last Of Us on PS4. Smashed out the entire main game + Left Behind DLC this long weekend.

My God, what an emotional rollercoaster. Can't remember playing a game that's made me want to cry as much as this :cry:

You can barely turn on the TV without hearing about the latest scandals to engulf FIFA, football’s governing body. And one man finds himself at the centre of it all. But while Sepp Blatter has relinquished his role as FIFA’s president, his reputation is forever tarnished. So much so, that a video game, depicting Blatter as a money-hungry, greedy guts, has been created for our enjoyment.

The game charges you with feeding the hungry Sepp – brilliantly lampooned as a large-headed, evil-laughing despot – with points awarded for cramming as much into his gob in the allotted time. However, Mr Blatter doesn’t eat everything thrown in his direction. He only likes the good things in life, ie; cash, champagne and gold-plated lobster. Any attempts to feed him pocket-change are quickly rebuffed.

Accompanying this display of vulgarity are some choice phrases, among them the predictable “money, money, money,” and, less so, “fussball money, groovy yeah.” The joke does wear thin after a couple of gos, but while it lasts, it is a hilarious send-up of one of sport’s most controversial figures. The person behind the game has not yet revealed themselves (wisely, perhaps), but they have put a smile on many a face this morning, my own included.

Not exactly a game in the sense of video game, but nonetheless. Are there people here who take Uno as seriously, and as hectic, as I do? Because if you love your Uno, and consider yourself a bit of a Uno nut, I have a scenario that played out that I want your professional opinion on:

2 Player uno game.
Player 1 has 2 cards remaining. Player 2 has 4 cards remaining.
Player 1 plays a +4, declares Uno.
Player 2 plays a +4, tells Player 1 to pick up 8.
Player 1 plays a +4, declares win.
Player 2 plays a +4, tells Player 1 to pick up 16.

Does Player 1 win, or does Player 1 pick up 16 and the game continues?

I know there are minor rules that change depending on which household you play in (like some houses don't build up +4s, some allow +2s on +4s, some allow pick-up/put-down, etc etc etc), but I feel like this above scenario applies to most house rules.

The Australian federal government may introduce a tax, dubbed the "Netflix tax," that would add 10 percent to digital goods bought online, such as games, movies and books. While Australians currently don’t pay GST for online purchases under US$1,000, the new tax will mean consumers may have to shell out an extra 10 percent for services like Netflix and Steam.

The Australian reported earlier this week that cabinet ministers rejected a proposal for the Netflix Tax but The Age today reports that the tax may still be included in next week’s Federal Budget 2015.

Netflix US has previously stated that it will add the GST to its service when the federal government passes it. The redrafting of the Tax Act won’t change the price of iTunes downloads as Australian consumers already pay GST on purchases from Apple's online store. IGN Logo

Announcement trailer for the new Total War: Warhammer. Would have preferred a LoTR game, but I'm interested to see how the series tackles fantasy.

Trailer looks cool (the shot at 0:59 - 1:05 is awesome), but knowing Creative Assemblies recent track record I'm not too hype about this game.

I don't think the SP campaign has done any bank jobs yet. I'm just tooling around trying not to smash too many story missions.

I keep spending all my cash on cars. I've got that one, did Michaels' car, did a second full upgrade for another Franklin car, and am halfway through upgrading Lester's shitbox. He's got no money though.
