the ball wasn't flying into the net with any ferocity and i think melo was the deciding factor in it entering the net. it should stand as an own goal.
What do you think about the FourFourTwo article
FIFA Score An Own Goal, As Melo Doesn't
?
FIFA's technical study group are in danger of making the contest to be the World Cup's top scorer a farce after awarding Wesley Sneijder both of Holland's goals against Brazil.
Have your say.

The ball only skimmed of the top of Melo's head and was going in anyway because of Melo pushing his own keeper out of the way. The ball didn't really change direction that much. I'm happy with Sneijder getting the goal.

Pretty much the size of it.
It was a massive keeping error not Melo's touch which turned it into a goal.

i would of given the goal to sneijder from the start, it was on target, the ferocity of the shot/cross doesn't mean a thing as you see floating balls like that go in quite often and it only just touched melo's head, sneijder's goal all along

Probably a good thing. You can't say Melo's touch changed it's momentum from not going in to going in - tt was going in regardless.
