Has anyone noticed how terrible the search function is on this website? I can type in the complete title of a past article and it will still match me up with some completely unrelated match report from 2007.

The problem I think is that it doesn't have any filters. You can't choose e.g. "Sort be most recent"

If there is a better way to search and I just haven't figured it out, I'd appreciate you telling me. If there's not, then KA please do something :)

Thats the best answer you'll get....trust me. The search function is broken, it was never unbroken! Don't rely on it and don't expect the ghost in the machine TWG to look into it any time soon.

The forum search and website search are two totally different things.

The forum search has always been useless and will most likely never be fixed.

The website search on the other hand is fixable and it's only a matter of time until it gets fixed and becomes useful. Not saying to expect it in a couple weeks or anything, but it's definitely on the cards to be fixed.

I tried using it yesterday for the first time and it wouldnt work.

I've tried the search button a few times over the last 6 months, it always comes up with "an error occurred in the database."

Maybe you should get rid of the search button if it isn't going to be fixed. Although, I think most people here would appreciate it if it could be fixed.....

you can search for posters, but not via topic. Or just use Google.
