FFS Fury open up more of the Eastern.
In reality the membership numbers are all about the supporters, the club have been pretty bloody hopefully at communicating to the public. Membership is kind of off the cards for me, but as someone happy to pay $30/match (x2, for partner and I) until ~December and yet still being uncertain whether I'll actually be able to get a seat is pretty piss poor.
The public are supporting the Fury, now we just need the Fury (read: FFA) to support the public.

If you want last years figure do the math.;) :d They had a bit over 2500 last year

Good news interesting to see there first homeground match.I think Fury will succeed as a club not sure about gold coast though they need a miracle its demoralising for people to know there club is at risk of closure in its second year it turns both old and new supporters away which is why you need a good first year.hearts crowd impressed me though.

Just like you shouldn't be reading too much into the Sydney-Melbourne, CCM, Heart, Adelaide, Newcastle game. or anything said, written or thought by anyone with anything to do with shitney.

the a-league does seem to be falling apart, if we have to use this figure to pump up the league.
big losses seems to be on the cards for nearly all clubs Yeah. I think that’s dam good considering it’s a league town.

I think the really exciting time of the game was back in the 50-70s. So many new clubs, from all different nationalities, coming together to build the sport. Looking back, so many clubs have come and gone since that time (including JUST).
Its a pity that these days things just do not have that same level of community involvement.
The only issue was later on, that sense of community meant that that broadbased support was hard to achieve, due to cultural and nationality based set-ups at those clubs. So ultimately, the things that made them strong actually were their undoing later on.
