I often feel there is something odd when I see people drinking screwdrivers without the vodka.

It's a Vodka and OJ, don't be pretentious :lol: It's not like you call every spirit + juice combination a "cape codder".

Yeah I agree - the spices in the rum are complemented by the tart sweetness of the juice. OJ is a better mixer than what most people give it credit for.

Over Christmas I may have been guilty of drinking the best part of a 1L bottle of Brandy with OJ, too. :lol:

I actually had straight OJ with 'breakfast' the other day - and by that I mean I left work and met non-hospo people for what they call breakfast - and it just didn't feel right without Vodka in it.

So latest recommendation lads, if you haven't got on it already: Ferral Brewery Hop Hog IPA. One of the best beers around right now.

I've been to the one in Melbourne, it's got a nice deck area and a lot of obscure craft beers on tap, I think they change what's on fairly regularly and you can go for some really interesting beers that you won't see at many other places. I assume the Sydney one is similar

I actually live around the corner from Local Taphouse but I've never gone there.

Might head to the Taphouse on Sunday before the Sydney-Wellington match.

okay. i've been thinking for a while of going on a trip. right. buttttt, its not just any trip. its a Robo Durry Fact Finding Mission across the USA. we'd make a documentary out of it and would become the next big thing! Steven Speilberg and i would hang all the time in his pimped out basement ripping cones out of a War of the Worlds themed bong. we'd maybe do renos and make a room made of tent. like its a huge multi leveled room made of tent with a big slide and a ball pit with a lounge that we hire Seth Rogen and James Franco to just chill in it 24/7 and smoke bulk kush. what a life.
