Quote:Lol is rats the REALLY indie one? I think im going to billboard saturday. What should I expect? I don't know what they're running this weekend but at a guess I'd say it will either be popped collars and tight jeans OR guys wearing fatties and tight t-shirts.

The Tote has to be the most miserable venue in Melbourne.

Of course I prefer pretentious indie rock places and gigs, or just rocking out at the Tote...

Pony is far from the worst place in town. But the girls there are either like windsocks or frigid as.

I've no idea about any of the clubs or dress codes either, but the ones my mates (18-20) etc always go to are Marquee, Revolver, Billboards, neverland, Co and Fusion at Crown or just a pub crawl through the cbd at places like the elephant wheelbarrow, golden monkey etc.

Quote:Suit whilst clubbing sucks. Too heavy and shit. Yeah, the main problem is that by the end of the night you'll smell like a gorilla in a barrel of bourbon, vomit and shark chum because of the heat. And you look like a twat/pimp/every chick in there's dad. You won't be picking up.
