I can knock up a list of 100 if you want Afro, id put it up tomorrow night, just to go with Draupnir's idea. Ill go for 10 players in each position, then we can bid on them. Players from lower European leagues and then players with nationalities such as Greek, Belgian, Croatian, Danish- countries like that. Its totally up to you but i'd be willing ot do it.

Just do one big draft.

Find the whatever amount of players, every sorts their list and sends it.

#1 choice gets the first player on the list, and that player is struck off the lists.
#2 gets their choice, and the player is struck off the lists, and so on and so forth.

Fuck. I've got so many bloody strikers now!

The thing is that we have to have an order of who gets who like that, and allows for no freedom. The guys in the middle of the draft are going to have a solid squad but probably not many "stars" overall because of how the draft goes, whereas the people towards the top or bottomg get first pick, every single/second round.

Its basically along the lines of what Draupnir mentioned last night with a few adaptations. Ill provide a list of 100 players, and each team recieves a budget of $10 million which they can use to purchase players. Minimum bid is $1 million meaning that the maximum players a team can pick up is 10, which will be highly unlikely. Lists of bids can be sent to me through PM and it will take place as a silent auction, with those first in getting preference. Players will come from the lower leagues of Europe aswell as leagues the second tiers for the major leagues.
I will try and get 10 players for each position, allowing people to bid for specific positional players in an aim to increase depth. The main aim of this proposed round is to add a bit more strength to the squad before the autofilling of Aussie players.

On a side note, is anybody willing to create a logo for Mid North Coast Magic, it would be greatly appreciated.

The plan is that we pad out the squads a little after the marquees. Hopefully there are around 20 man squads. What I'll get you all to do after the marquees is I'll give you a list of players and they'll all have values. You'll have a set budget. If two people bid on the same player it will be first in best dressed. You'll have to pick about 4 players to fill your team.
