The league was never founded on 'equality', it was founded on the idea that the people who paid the most attention would end up in the major league, whilst those who fell behind would go into the 2nd division.

I read it properly, I just don't think it's a fair system - it means that some people have an unfair advantage and extra players to wheel and deal by doing precisely nothing.

If there was enough players for everyone to have five, sure. This way is just bullshit.

On the subject of unfair advantages, what happens with the links to other clubs we got? Can I bring someone in from my linked club (Palmeiras)?

The draft rounds were based on equality over the whole process. To get an extra player for free at the end because you happened to be online at the time is horseshit. It renders the point of getting the four players from this last round pretty much meaningless because I could have just not bid on anyone and gotten four players at the end for nothing and bid twenty million for Schweinsteiger or Hangeland or whoever the fuck I wanted.

There was an entire day for the people who had less than 4 players to pick up the 4 they wanted.

I waited till midnight last night to pick up another player. That's 50 hours.

I'm pretty sure there are still players available. It's been like 3 days, 65 or so hours.

Everyone has had more than enough time. It's not my fault if people don't bother checking in on the thread.

They were all listed in the last thread. They were linked to your choice of manager.

Some people got linked with another club.

Some people got upgraded facilities.

Some people got 1 or 2 players in a set 'type' (for example, I got a choice from a Mexican rep side).

Can we loan players or can they move freely between clubs, though? Would be quite handy.

from my understand of FM feeder clubs sometimes loan each other players

Any news on when we are kicking off?

well afro said monday would be the earliest so hopefully this week, he hasn't been on in a while though
