Congrats!
Bit disapointed with my season. Started out pretty well, getting Peyton and Chris Johnson in the draft, and went backwards from there!

I'm more upset that I led the table from week 2-12 and then fell in a heap and have won one of my last four.

Orlovsky with a great final drive to get the Colts up over Houston. From what I've seen of Orlovsky, he hasn't been too bad. By no means a star, but a solid back-up.

Colts hitting form at the wrong time! Playing themselves out of the Andrew Luck sweepstakes.

The Colts have bene performing a LOT better since Orlovski started for them. I was almost going to bet on the Colts last night and talked myself out of it. Goddamn.

It'll be a close run thing for first draft pick...but Vikings will keep starting Ponder and St Louis aren't likely to change from Sam Bradford, so the first pick for either of those teams will probably be a WR.

My picks for the rest of the week are Baltimore, Denver, Carolina, Bengals, Oakland, New England, Giants, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, Washington, Detroit, Dallas, Niners, Packers, Saints.

Agree that the other teams have less need to draft a QB, but there's nothing stopping either of them deciding Luck has more chance of being their franchise QB than what they've got.

Fair point, they could trade either one of those and get some decent players or a high draft pick in return. Honestly wouldn't be surprised to see either franchise do a Bengals and take two high picks and set up a rookie WR/QB team like with Dalton/Green, which has been a great success, injuries aside.

You've also got to remember that at QB there's Luck and Heisman trophy winner Griffin III who will both probably go in the first round, and either one would be a superb understudy for Manning - who they may end up persisting with anyway.

That said, a loss next week to Jacksonville would guarantee them first pick anyway.

If the Colts take Luck, or even Grifin III, there's potential for another Green Bay situation to arise. A veteran champion quarterback (Favre), playing out his final years whilst tutoring his young understudy (Rodgers), who goes on to be the leader of the team for years to come, leading them to become one of the best teams in the league.

The difference being that Farve was fully fit when the Packers drafted Rodgers and had three years of starting ahead of his understudy. I'm not sure that Manning has three years left in him with his neck the way it is. One more hit to the head and his career is over. And while that's a risk worth taking for a side lower down the pecking order, it's not worth it for perennial high-rollers like the Colts.

I think that the best thing for the Colts to do is tank next week, take that number 1 draft pick and go for Luck, use Manning as trade-bait for an experienced defensive player like Revis and make a big move for Vincent Jackson on the waiver to bulk up their WR stocks and give Luck someone to throw to.

NFL's fan question of the day "Which 10 people would you take to the super bowl?"
"Mark Sanchez. It's the only way he'll ever be there."

45 TD's this season for Rodgers in a 5 TD game with just 283 passing yards is immense. 5 TD's short of Brady's record. Can he get there?

I don't think so. I don't think he will play out the whole game next week. Will likely see Flynn take a few snaps like this morning.. Especially considering Suh will be on the other side of the line of scrimmage. Nevertheless, still a lock in for MVP.

Looking forward to Giants and Cowboys next week. Gonna be a ripper. AFC West is up for grabs as well. Denver are sliding.

Don't have a video as of yet, but did anyone see THAT touchdown for Cinncinati? You'll know the one I'm talking about if you've seen it. Unfuckingbelievable.

It's a huge way to reply to Brees' effort last week. 21/29 283 5TD 142.7.

Honestly, I expect a shoot-out next week. He'll start and if we have a big first half and get 3 TD's, I think we might see if we can get to Brady's record. It's a shame that we didn't show up last week and he needs so many.

Cowboys v Giants next week is going to be fucking huge. I'd love to see the Chargers beat the Raiders and the Chiefs roll the Broncos to make it a 3-way tie in AFC West.

The saints defence are coming into form. Matt Ryan had a good game, he got 128 yards out of Julio Jones. And without Nick Collins I don't think the Packers can beat them.

Had a bit of a look at the play-offs and the upcoming results...I can't see a lot changing this weekend, just results consolidating current standings.

So The Seeding goes thus:
AFC...
1. Pats (12-3, East)
2. Ravens (11-4 North)
3. Texans (10-5 South)
4. Broncos (8-7 West) (possibly Raiders or Chargers depending on results)
5. Steelers (11-4 North)
6. Bengals (9-6 North) (possibly Jets depending on results)

NFC...
1. Packers (14-1 North)
2. Niners (12-3 West)
3. Saints (12-3 South)
4. Giants (8-7 East) (Potentially Cowboys)
5. Lions (10-5 North)
6. Falcons (9-6 South)

So the run in looks like...
1. Giants v Detroit
2. Saints v Falcons

Winner game 1 v Packers
Winner game 2 v Niners

Predicting Packers v Saints NFC championship.

1. Texans v Bengals
2. Broncos v Steelers

Winner game 1 v Ravens
Winner game 2 v Patriots

Predicting Ravens v Patriots AFC championship.

Packers v Ravens superbowl.

Afro summed it up perfectly. Agree that the Superbowl will be Packers and Ravens.

We really need a couple of db's in the draft this year. It's awful. Chung and McCourty are good, but if they're injured like they have been, that leaves us very vulnerable. I can't see us winning another Super Bowl until we sort out our secondary. Brady can't be relied on to win the game every week.

The draft this year is definitely going to be interesting, with the Packers, Giants AND Patriots all having potentially late round picks and all looking for DB's.

The Packers have some quality in Woodson and Collins, but Sheilds loses his cool at times and although Charlie Peprah can perform, we don't have the second CB to control in cover-2 plays. Tramon Williams and Morgan Burnett are quality in the air, but rubbish on the stop.

To put it in perspective, the Patriots have conceded 4,407 yards, the Packers 4,294, the Saints 4,020 and the Vikings 3,902 (yes, the three teams who have conceded the most yards are in the play-offs, go figure).

But the telling stat is that the Patriots have 19 picks, the Saints have just 8, 7 for the vikings, while the Pack have an incredible 29. 8 more than the no. 1 ranked Defence of the Niners.

Also worth noting that the Saints have conceded the most 40+ yd plays (9) and the Patriots have conceded the most 20+ yd plays (76).
