Of COURSE you're going to struggle killing games off when you have a secondary that makes the Panthers look good, and a pass rush with two rookies leading the sack tally. Their offence might be star-studded and quality, but that defence is garbage and any half-decent QB is going to pick it apart. The funniest thing is that if Sanchez hadn't given away that safety, or better yet if there had been ANY kind of blocking on that kick return, Jets would have won  This is not the Pats of old.

I don't get why you'd do it prior to the Fins game, why not wait until the Rams? Especially when your season is pretty much done and dusted anyway.

A Packers offence missing Nelson, Jennings and Benson is almost completely toothless, struggled to a 24-15 win over Jacksonville. No Sam Shields or Charles Woodson didn't help either.
Detroid and Chicago both had come-from-behind victories in their games after trailing for much of the day. The Fins smashed the Jets, The Pats annihilated the Rams and the other games were pretty well stock standard.

Well, for the second year in a row, everyone's fantasy team seems to get it's shit together for one week, and it's the week they play me!

FMD, the Cowboys are such a cringe-worthy team. So many errors. Especially on D.

Shattered that I benched Marshall in one fantasy team in preference to Cobb. Glad it didn't cost me the win. Pretty happy with the Packers performance too. We need Jordy back to fitness though.

Even when we won the Superbowl, it was Starks coming good at the right time that made opposition defences respect the run. Benson was never that guy and Starks and Green are unreliable. I've heard that with Carolina's season in the toilet, DeAngelo Williams might be available.

No dice there. The trade window closed on November 1st. There was talk we were going to go for Williams or Stevan Jackson, but nothing eventuated. It would have cost us 2 draft picks anyway.
We're going to end up having to draft a WR, Safety and a RB in next year's draft. I can't see Jennings getting the big deal he wants given he missed half the season.

A morning of upsets...Fins go down to the Titans, Vikings get up over the Lions, Bengals mince the Giants and Saints edge the Falcons for their first loss of the season.
Ravens and Broncos did it in style, and Josh Freeman kept up his good form for the Bucs over the Chargers.
New England get home by the skin of their teeth against the Bills, intercepting in the end zone of the Bills with 28 seconds remaining.

The Packers get home in a heart-stopper against the Lions. Heck of a game for the Neutral.
The Jets smashed the Rams, Redskins school the Eagles.
Matt Ryan threw three first quarter picks against the Cardinals and 5 for the game with no TD's, but the Falcons still got up. Ryan's pass rating was 40. Who'd have thought that Jacksonville would take the Texans to OT as well?!
You have to feel sorry for the Cowboys, they've got killer receivers but Romo is such a dud.

Unbelievable, three games going to OT - Browns v Cowboys. Bucs v Panthers and Jags v Texans.
Jeeze...what a game for Andre Johnson...273 yards and a TD...and I left him on my bench.

He only had 33 points because it went to OT. He had a 1st and goal with 1:05 remaining and got pinged for delay of game twice before they took the FG.
Did you watch the Packers game, mate? What do you make of Crosby's form?

I haven't seen it, so I can't comment on today. It's obviously a concern, especially when he misses indoors. It's the first time in his career he's form has slipped like this, so I guess we'll se the real Mason Crosby if he can bounce back from it for not.

He was 1 from 3 this week, after missing and getting a re-take because of Lions taking a time-out at the snap, 1 from 2 last week and 1 from 2 the week before. It's going to be costly if he doesn't get it together soon, with the weather turning.
We've got a tough trip to the Giants next week too. Hopefully Matthews, Raji and Jennings are fit.
Holy shit, look at that Pats score! 59 points!

Chad Heen threw 4 TD's. The same Chad Henne who was staring QB for the Dolphins.
Nice to see we slaughtered the Colts. Was worried coming into that game.

What makes that even more astounding is that he did it against the Texans.
That was a great warm-up for the Pats coming in to taking on the Jets next week.
Also while I'm thinking of it...has anyone been watching the defensive rookies this year? The quality has been immense for a draft that didn't promise much.

Out of the Patriots, Chandler Jones has been very good and Dont'a Hightower has been promising. Trying to think of a few more from other teams.

Chandler Jones has been pretty epic.
Casey Hayward has been huge for the packers and has 5 interceptions to his name. Trumaine Johnson has been huge for the Rams.
Claiborne has been disappointingm actually pretty much all the first round DB's have been. What I've seen of McClellin and Mercilus they've had solid years but not much else.

Patriots learning that running up scores and playing starters late on in a blowout can cost them. Gronkowski broke his forearm on the final extra point of the game.

TBF, it was a routine kick. Gronkowski's part of the field goal unit so he came on and did his job. Unfortunately, something went wrong and he's sidelined for 4-6 weeks. Knowing Gronk, he probably volunteered to go out there on that play.

Why would you use Gronk instead of Hernandez in a game you've got well and truly wrapped up? Stupid call by Bill. That said, I'm thankful because I've got Benjo next week in fantasy
Better still...my other league opponent also has Gronk  That's the very definition of a win.
Did anyone see Jesus in the crowd of the Ravens v Steelers game?

Well fuck...they activated Shiancoe this week, why wouldn't you use him? #-o Pats deserve it.
