The Ravens are going to have the worst Super Bowl defence of all time. The Giants are sitting there thinking "Welp, fuck...I'm glad someone's coming along to make our defence look better."
Sidebar: what the fuck are Chicago doing to Urlacher? Even though he's a Bear, I fucking love the guy. How do you do that to one of the best players to ever pull on a Bears jersey?

It's been quiet over Easter but there's been a flurry of deals today:
Heyward-Bey has joined the Colts.
Flynn has been traded from the Seahawks to the Raiders for a fifth round 2014 and conditional 2015 pick (bargain there).
In the "take him, just fucking take him" move of the off-season, Carson Palmer has been traded from Oakland to Arizona for a conditional 7th round pick.
Nnamdi Asomugha has joined San Fran on a 1 year 1.35m deal.
WR Steve Smith and Kicker Nate Kaeding have both joined Tampa Bay.
And after a heart scare at the combine, Star Lotulelei has been declared "safe to play" by physios.

Draft this month. So keen, almost finished my mock first with all the free agency nearly done. Titans have signed 10 players in Free agency, only piece we didnt sign is a pass rusher, so look to us to either take OL Cooper or a DE.

And he has some 75m guaranteed, making him the second highest paid NFL player this season. So I'm pretty much just going to pretend like it didn't happen. Quote:Draft this month. Can't see both Alex Smith and Geno Smith at Kansas. I was going to get one of the Draft Erap caps...but the shipping is a bit steep. Gonna wait until payday and get one of the Impact jerseys. My Personal theory on the Titans is we either go for the OL, or we nab a CB, either if Milliner drops or we take a stab at Rhodes, and draft a guard in the second. Personally id like to see us take Rhodes and draft Warford from Kentucky in the 2nd.

We won't take a RB in the first round. There's no way Teo will fall to Baltimore either.
Draw is out. Packers have some tough away games @Atlanta, @Baltimore and opening the season @Niners. Not happy with that. Not to mention the 4th round bye - they usually give the early bye to teams they don't expect to make the play-offs. The .525 draw is the third consecutive draw over 500.

The Jets really weren't in much of a position to negotiate. But that's an insane contract for Revis. That's QB/WR kind of money, not DB money.

So ESPN are having a live mock-draft where the divisional bloggers pick for their respective teams. This was their first round: 1. Kansas City: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M, 2. Jacksonville: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon, 3. Miami: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan; [from Oakland] 4. Philadelphia, Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah; 5. Detroit: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma; 6. Cleveland: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama; 7. Arizona: Chance Warmack, G, Alabama; 8. Buffalo: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee; 9. NYJ: Barkevious Mingo, DE, LSU; 10. Tennessee: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida; 11. San Diego: Jonathan Cooper, G, UNC; 12. Oakland: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU; [from Miami] 13. NYJ: Tavon Austin, WR, WVU; [from Tampa Bay] 14. Carolina: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri.; 15. New Orleans: Jarvis Jones, LB/DE, Georgia; 16. St. Louis: Kenny Vaccaro, S, Texas; 17. Pittsburgh: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame; 18. Dallas: D.J. Fluker, OT, Alabama; 19. NYG: Desmond Trufant, CB, Washington; 20. Chicago: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia; 21. Cincinnati: John Cyprien, FS, FIU; 22. St. Louis: Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee; [From Washington] 23. Minnesota: Sylvester Williams, DT, UNC; 24. Indianapolis: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State; 25. Minnesota: D.J. Hayden, CB, Houston; [From Seattle] 26. Green Bay: John Jenkins, DT, Georgia. 27. Houston: Keenan Allen, WR, Cal. 28. Denver Broncos: Bjoern Werner, DE, FSU. 29. New England: Robert Woods, WR, USC. 30. Atlanta: Jamar Taylor, CB, Boise State. 31. San Francisco 49ers: Eric Reid, S, LSU. 32. Baltimore Ravens: Manti Te'o, LB, Notre Dame.
Not sure about Steelers taking Eifert. Also surprised nobody took a QB or RB in the first round.

That was another head-scratcher...but the Titans didn't get to where they are by making good draft picks y'know... I'm entirely unconvinced that with Ed Reid still on the board, the Pack wouldn't snap him up in an instant. The guy can play FS or SS and is probably the best DB on the board, if he fell to 26 we'd fall over ourselves to have him in next to Burnett.

If Ansah or Cooper are on the board at 10, we take them before even looking at Floyd. In terms of the way we draft, i think we havent done too badly in the first round. Since we've been in Nashville, we've taken 1st rounders like Kearse, Bulluck, Haynesworth (Who was good when he ran our line), CJ2k and Kenny Britt. Griffin has done ok, VY did well for a season and its hard to gauge Locker yet.

Also in terms of the Jets 13th pick, i fully expect them to waste it on reaching for a QB, probably Matt Barkley.

Honestly, I reckon they'll still have one of Manuel, Barkley or Smith on the board for their second round pick. They'll use their first on Tavon Austin and their second on a DE That said, they know that Austin is on Bills board, so they may have to give up a third rounder and trade up.

First time since the merger that no RB has been taken in the first round. Huge draft by the Vikings. They're going to be strong this year. Ditto Chargers.
Fairly happy with the Packers picking up Jones and Lacy...not sure what they're doing trading down and buck-shotting it though. Really frustrating to see today we've drafted OT JC Tretter and RB Jonathan Franklin. WTF to we need another RB for? Draft a WR FFS!
