Henry is at the ground, red&white scarff and all. Greeted the players as they got off the bus. Legend.

I would also like a public apology to every Arsenal fan in the world for calling this the best Arsenal squad he's ever had. The only player in this squad who would get close to the Invincibles or the double winning teams of 02 and 1998 is Fabregas and he would only get on the bench.

Apparently had a massive fallout at Euro 2008 and didn't talk at all while Gallas was at Arsenal and yeah they really don't like eachother

Never talked since apparently.

Yeah something like that, Gallas cracked the shits for Nasri not respecting senior players.

Maybe the absense of Gallas this season is a contributing factor to Nasri's recent form...?

My sense of optimism about this Arsenal team is officially destroyed until Vermaelen returns. Without him at the back we have no mongrel, and no fighting spirit. The sooner we have a pairing of Djourou/Squillaci and Vermaelen the better, Koscielny has failed to fill me with optimism that he's good enough at the moment, he has potential to be excellent though.
And Denilson ](*,) Rambo cannot get back soon enough

And Denilson ](*,) Rambo cannot get back soon enough i must admit I have never really watched arsenal play much recently... its hard to watch a team you want to lose alot, so this is the first time i have really seen nasri do anything and yeah he is a classy act... but i was shocked at the lack of guts and mongrel that the great arsenal teams had (merson, winterburn, adams, bould, gallas, viera, petit etc...) jsut a lack of hard nose winning determination if you get what i mean... i looked at ya centre backs and thought... i could take them in an alley fight easy! but really its SEP :)

Honestly I won't be over it until either we beat them or beat one of Chelsea and Man Utd, then I think I'll start to forget about it.

Exactly Fabregas should have buried that chance in the first half to make it 3-0 and it would have been game over. It hurts but it's all to familiar for us. There needs to be some fucking major changes in this team. Edited by sydneycroatia58: 22/11/2010 02:12:10 PM

Just like to say a big congratulations to Arsenal's USA affiliate the Colorado Rapids who clinched their first ever MLS Cup title with a 2-1 ET win over FC Dallas.

I won't get over it until we got top of the league, that was a chance we should have taken.

There's rumours around that Villa could be interested in Bendtner in January.
I don't know why but I'm thinking some kind of trade and cash between us with Bendtner and Young involved.
Also an interesting question. Just forget about all the results this season so far, if someone had said to me that we'd be 2 points off the top at the end of November i'd have bitten their hand off. So as bad as this weekend has been there is still hope. This time last season we had just lost away to Sunderland and then at home to Chelsea the next week and were like 11 points behind iirc. We had 25 points at this stage last season. This season we have 26. It's not all doom and gloom.

Some team news ahead of the Braga trip this week. RVP, Arshavin and Clichy are all out. Means Gibbs, Bendtner and Walcott will most likely start. Will probably see Wilshere come back into the side as well as Eboue and Rosicky getting starts.
News is that Clichy is out with a back problem, RVP is out because of a lack of match fitness and may be playing in the reserves and Arshavin is just being rested.
Some great news, Aaron Ramsey is back in full training and looks like taking part in the reserves match tomorrow.

Good news about Aaron Ramsey. Got through 45 minutes for the reserves without any problems. Looked pretty good from all accounts. Almunia also played 45 mins in that match. As for the match against Braga, esoecting to see the likes of Eboue, Rosicky, Bendtner, Walcott, Wilshere and Gibbs all back into the starting lineup. Will probably see Djourou come back into the centre of defence as well. I think we'll see something like this. ---Fabianski---
--Eboue--Koscielny--Djourou--Gibbs--
----Song----
---Wilshere---Denilson/Fabregas---
---Walcott-----------------------------Rosicky---
---Bendtner---
A draw and we are through to the next round and that means we can rest players against Partizan for the game against United a few days later.

Well we were always saying how we hated the Champions league Group Stage being so easy:lol:
Just have to say at least we have Partizan at home to finish off. But would have rather be through 2 games ago.
We are also lucky that Villa are very up and down as well this season and it's an away game so we'll probably scrape a win:lol:

I don't know why But I'm kind of scared that I find myself seriously questioning Wenger at the moment.
If we don't win anything this season can see him being put under some serious pressure, more than he ever has before.
