Quite Frankly; i cant see why he would bother, hes already had a stint in Australia, and he liked what he saw. Sure he may of stayed for another season if it had not been for the SALARY CAP. Thats why he wouldnt come back over. Thats why this league wont propally kick off, because more famous players play for clubs in the Middle East, cause the moneys better What do you think about the FourFourTwo article Yorke To Gold Coast [RUMOUR]? Have your say.

No way he will sign with Gold Coast. He's 37 this year and I feel has just about had enough. With injuries this year in the EPL and the threat of relegation with Sunderland I dont believe he will continue his footballing career in Australia. Would be good to see him in a coaching role for the strikers in the future perhaps in Sydney.

He stated that he wanted to return to Sydney. Can't see him signing for any A-League team though, especially when he is playing in the Premier League.

Hang on, lets examine this, Another Rumour has Aloisi at Sydney next year, so yorkes out there but whats to stop CCM or Galaxy picking him up, He loved Sydney for the Golf, Girls and sun, the Gold Coast has more of all. He's still performing in EPL so 1 more year in A-League would be easy for him. I say "Yorke back to A-League" will be the headline but who knows where?

i think it would be a good move, hes something special, got better with age, its amazing that he moved back into midfield when he got old instead of being a lazy striker

Nah he left that for Brosque to do. I like him as a Midfielder, he offers a lot more. He has a good head on his shoulders.

Yorke for the Gold Coast would be great and hopefully his best mate Mark Bosnich gets the goalie slot to make his return to professional football.

Hopefully we are more welcoming than were ready to push him out the door after his contract ended.

He will come back if sunderland is relegated otherwise i think he'd be crazy to leave one of the worlds best leagues for the A-League.

nah, if he was gonna move club again; it would be to get a nice sum of $$$ before he hangs up the boots; somewere like America, or Middle Eastern teams like Al Ahliay (Qatar). Even the J-League, their becomeing a world headline now

Yorke Shmorke. Hes been here done that. I know he is a big name, but we can surely find someone better. Sunderland dont even want him, and thats an old buddy whos incharge.
