 No point even posting that Funky. One of the biggest loads of garbage this summer. Not even one quote in the story to back up their claims. They could've at least tried to use the 'source close to the player/club' trick
It amazes me how these newspapers seem to have psychic powers and are able to read a players mind.

Cesc Fabregas has told his Arsenal team-mates: I'll never play for the Gunners again.
From the Sun!

That's the same Sun who yesterday claimed Man City had signed Nasri

so...what's the limit of abuse we're allowed to give Nasri should he leave? 3 seasons at Arsenal...not really enough to be called a club legend/icon...

 Don't think there is a limit, and tpbh unless he goes to United I don't think he's really worth the abuse. If he thinks one god 6 month period entitles him to the same wages as a guy who's done it for the last 6-7 years we should just leave him and whatever drugs he is taking alone.

You keep saying that but do you have any proof of A) What Cesc is on, B) What Nasri is demanding?

Apparently the 90k a week we offered isn't good enough for him, and no matter how much Nasri or his cunt for an agent say it's not about money that's all it's about. imnofreak wrote:A trophy ;) That talk about him just wanting trophies and it not being about money is a load of crap  If that was the case if he leaves he should be happy to accept the same wage as he is getting currently at Arsenal. Would be interesting to see his reaction if the club he goes to offers him the same wage he earns with us  The way the media carries on about the possibility of him leaving you'd be forgiven for thinking he's been our best player ever since he arrived, instead of being average for 2.5 of the 3 years he's been here  Edited by sydneycroatia58: 8/7/2011 01:38:10 AM

Don't know why Almunia and Bendtner aren't there, hopefully in Almunia's case it means he's close to a move. Edited by sydneycroatia58: 9/7/2011 10:46:20 PM

Yeah confirmed that both Almunia(thank god)and Bendtner have stayed back because of transfer negotiations. Would assume that a bids have been accepted. Sad to see Bendtner go because I just know he's going to be fucking amazing for another club. Would rather keep him.
As for Almunia, I'd sell him for free if we could.

Always felt sorry for Bendtner. I reckon he's a quality striker, but his play just doesn't suit Arsenal. And he's always had to compete with some brilliant strikers.

I feel sorry for him. I just know he would be excellent when played through the middle like he should, he's just not helped by the players infront of him performing well. This season especially. First half of the season Chamakh was on fire and the second half, well RvP happened

Have to say whoever made this deserves some credit. On first look i couldn't really tell but on closer inspection it's actually Gervinho's head on Djourou's body  Edited by sydneycroatia58: 10/7/2011 01:54:09 AM

Definietly wont be sorry to see Almunia go. Szczesny will be a more than adequate replacement, and fabianski and mannone will keep him on his heels. Would have liked to see Bendtner loaned out to see how he fared somewhere else before selling him. Im just worried what will happen to the likes of carlos vela. I doubt that with RvP, chamakh and gervinho he will be break into the lineup. Just one bone to pick. Why the hell did we let Clichy go for 7m quid? With all the money Man City have they could have got a lot more.

Because he's in the last year of his contract, and City had the biggest offer from a team in England. Would rather sell him for 7m than lose him for nothing next year.

So Arsene had his first press conference of the season in Kuala Lampur ahead of our Asian tour and he finally confirmed that Gervinho has signed, but that he won't be joining the tour because of a lack of match fitness and will instead be in London training.
Arsene also said that Cesc will not be leaving and neither will Nasri, but he said he was unsure whether Nasri would sign an extension. As much as I don't like going into next season with Nasri able to leave for free at the end I have a feeling Arsene will persuade him to stay, just like he did with Viera for what seemed like 100 summers in a row.

Another interesting omission from the Asian tour squad is that of Ignasi Miquel. You'd think that he'd be there and my hope is that he's not there because he'll be part of a deal with Bolton for Gary Cahill. Of course knowing my luck that won't happen

Of course knowing my luck that won't happen  Not an Arsenal fan, but he wasn't in Spain's u20 WC squad (given their talent), but they have the European u19's tournament starting soon (July 20). Seems rather pointless really, though Spain's u19 team looks impressive despite a few being in the u20 WC squad. A few probably just missing out born 1992/1993 (Sarabia for starters). Sooo... He'd likely be in Romania right now.

Yeah my mistake, never knew he was called up for that squad. Just like I said  my luck.
Just looking at that squad he's the only one who isn't at a Spanish club
