At the end of the match he had a go at one of the travelling fans for berating the team and told him he should be supporting the team not continually criticising. That's the first I've heard of it too. I googled it when I saw your post.

That's the first I've heard of it too. I googled it when I saw your post. Nothing in it. The guy was apparently smashed off his face and was shooting his mouth off. As for Arshavin, there is no way he can keep a starting place, but I really would not start Henry out wide left. I'd much rather start Chamberlain who showed more in his cameo against Swansea than both Arshavin and Henry put together. That being said, against United this weekend starting Henry may not be such a bad idea.

sydneycroatia58 wrote:That being said, against United this weekend starting Henry may not be such a bad idea. Yeah, as much as I'd like to see the Ox start more, Henry will be really up for United this week and he has more experience of big games against United than anyone else in the team. The passion he's shown for the club in his short time here must be a real lift for everyone. Edited by gooner4life_8: 16/1/2012 10:20:03 PM

just got a ticket for arsenal vs a.c milan in champs league, am hoping the first leg isnt a blow out and we still have something to play for in the return leg,
about the whole henry thing wenger has said over here that he may use henry as a winger, so rvp up front alone and henry on the flank,

So Arteta is out for United and Henry has little chance of being fit. Just fucking great. I don't know why we bother sometimes.

There has to be something wrong either with the clubs medical or strength and conditioning staff. We havnt changed staff in ages and in possibly hte last 4 season all the players get the same type of injuries. All foot area injuries, whether its calf strains, ankle problems, every seasn its the exact same. WTF is wrong with them.

So Arsene has said he will assess the options at LB after Sunday. I really hope he goes out and gets someone like Aly Cissokho because we cannot rely on Gibbs anymore.

imnofreak wrote:I wasn't aware you ever could :P It's sad really because for Gibbs, it's never been a doubt about talent, that's always been there, but the kid just can't stay fit. Diaby is the same, fucking brilliant player when fit, just can't ever seem to get fit. Unfortunately for Diaby, he has that twat Dan Smith to thank for his injury problems, never been the same since that cunt smashed his ankle.

If I were you, I would be shitting myself at our right side at the moment, If Valencia gets going with Rafael in form, I don't know who will stop them out there. Who is going to be playing on the left? Arshavin? [-o<

Out of those 3, for me you have to go with Ox. The other two will play in front of Rafael where at least Ox will run in behind and keep Rafael back.

I'm hoping Valencia will have a field day and we can keep you guys on the backfoot but RVP does scare me the way Torres used too. Cissokho would be massive for you, I really rate him, he was devastating against us in the CL a few years ago with Porto

Tbf Yossi will track back a lot as well. The only one who really will hurt having on the left is Shava, and unfortunately I think it'll be him starting

So rumours around that Vermaelen may be fit. If true it is a fucking huge boost. If he is fit I'd like to see this. ---Szcesny---
--Djourou---Mertesacker--Koscielny--Vermaelen---
---Song--Rosicky---
---Theo----------Ramsey----------Ox---
---RvP--- That's what I'd like to see, but I think it'll be Arshavin on the left instead of Ox unfortunately.

Anyway, positives
Obviously Ox was excellent and Koscielny was a beast once again. Mertesacker had one of his best games and I thought Rosicky had his best game for a long long time.
