Honestly, how would a team like Arsenal, "outclass" AC Milan, sure on their day they would have been able to beat them but Milan are a different class to Arsenal.

Although tbf it's not like this is some great Milan side. They're good, not great. We were just horrible today, and they played very well.

Very simple lads, time to lower your ambitions. This is one of the weakest Arsenal sides I've ever seen and it won't change any time soon.

:lol: Most people lowered their ambitions months ago. After this morning we focus on making the top 4 and giving the FA Cup a good go because we have a real shot at winning that I think. I think this weekend we have to go with as strong a team as we can because we have to salvage something from this season and then re-group in the summer.

Honestly, I'd probably rather play you, Chelsea or Sp*rs in the Final than a 'smaller' team, wouldn't be any risk of the players underestimating the opponent.

Yeah... It's why I'm worried about the Carling Cup. Cardiff players are going to be so fired up, and if we don't match that determination I can see it going bad.

They have mixed our socks up. Don't read much into it as we have black socks and you have red. Also, between the Arsenal socks it has 'manu' I doubt that is anything official.

Even the United kit, like everyone at first glance, I hated it but it will just look the same on the pitch, we won't see the checkers, I like the touch of old school. Still will prefer something different and do expect something different.

I think a lot of people went straight to the socks, and because they're so out of place it puts them off.

We have red socks though, at least as our 'change' socks anyway.

Our centreback options are starting to look a touch thin again. Djourou is such a terrible defender it's amazing we re-signed him. I don't think he would make it into the first 11 of any premier league team let alone Arsenal. Having him as our first backup at the moment is dangerous.
I wish we had bought Sahko before PSG became such a financial powerhouse like many of us wanted. :?

How quickly people forget Djourou being far and away our best defender last season.

Also worth remembering, while he hasn't been great this season, when he has been shit most of the time it's when he's been played at RB, completely out of position. Most central defenders would struggle when played completely out of position.

I'd say he's been better at RB this season than CB. He was atrocious at the start of the season playing CB through our poor start and brought back that feeling when he came on the other day.

True he looked half decent last season compared to our other CB's because he has the pace needed in the high defensive line we were using.

Not half decent, he was far far and away our best CB last season, and was fucking outstanding for basically all of last season.

I think Squillaci just made him look good :lol:

But really,I think we could do worse for a 4th choice CB.

:lol: He actually didn't play a whole lot with Squillaci, he did a bit in the first half of the season, but he played mostly with Koscielny and that's where his best performances came.

I remember into the 2nd half of the season there was some insane stat like we'd conceded just 4 or something goals in 16 or so games when he was actually on the pitch.

In the end, I'd much rather Djourou in the team just so Squillaci is that little bit further away :lol:
