Amazing that Sanga has the nerve to accuse Johnson of breaking his leg on purpose. Sagna was unfortunate but Johnson should take him to court for unsubstantiable slander. There's no video evidence that Johnson set out to break his leg.

 Take him to court, that'd be funny.

Like I said, Sagna's just upset and angry that he's going to miss the Euro's and I think the only reason he's come out and said it is because where the contact from Johnson was, is right where the plate from his broken leg earlier in the season is.

Well it really is damaging speculation with nothing substantial to back it up. Sagna having a broken leg does not excuse his comments.

If no legal action is taken the F.A should step in. You simply can't say things like this.

 I'd consider it damaging speculation if anyone actually took the comments seriously, which I don't think anyone, even Arsenal fans are.

As for the FA stepping in, what exactly would they do . Suspend him? For what exactly, making a silly comment which players and managers have made before.

Guess he's embracing his shirt, seems like an Arsenal tradition to blame everyone else

They should fine him. This is bigger than just Arsenal but players should not make defaming comments about other players and be allowed to get away with it. Especially when they are completely unsubstantiated.

Horrible kits. Just horrible...

I loved this season's kit and the last's, Nike just seem to fly off the handle and make really strange kits every now and then. Our away kit hasn't been the proper yellow and blue for ages, I've never seen a home kit with blue on it.

Whatever happened to having the same kit for at least two seasons?

I must admit, first thought after hearing Sagna was 'whinging Frenchman'.

We had blue in our home kit from 1998-2002

If you mean the 98 double winning kit there won't be any blue on it  1998-99 was the first season until 2000-01. We also had blue on our home kit in the early 90's, the early 80's. We had blue hoops on our socks in the late 60's and also had blue hoops on our socks from 1933-1960

Having looked at the kit, which was a '99 one anyway, the blue is far more subtle then a hoop the sleeve. So I'm wrong, subtle blue is a part of Arsenal kit. The point still stands though, I've never seen that amount of blue on the Arsenal shirt. It's too overpowering, too prominent.

Maybe the red on the inside of it as well is what makes it look weird. I dunno it just doesn't look like an Arsenal kit. It just does not look right. How hard is it to stick to red and white?

I don't know who's counting blue hoops on socks from the 1930's, but I certainly couldn't give a flying fuck about that and honestly don't see its relevance.

Sorry mate, Nike's gone mental again. Prepare for strange patterns and designs like Man United...

Naw, nowadays they just mix it up every few years hoping for a sales bump. In 2005 it was the purely redcurrant kit, in 2008 it was the complete change of pattern and now it's this.
Can't imagine that this thing will sell any more though

Far out it's just so bad.
I could honestly deal with the sleeves, but the neck stands out so much and somehow makes their heads seem bigger or something.
At least it's only for one season.

Yeah It's the collar that's really bad. The sleeves I'm meh with and eventually warm to, but that collar just gets worse the more you look at it.

As for changing it up every few years for a sales boost, I wouldn't really call the redcurrant kit of 05/06 a change for a sales bump.

I just hate the sleeves. The neck would look better if it was a lot narrower.
Was thinking of buying a new jersey hate the look of this one should I buy the old one.

Yeah the collar as well, just looks wrong... Maybe it would be better thinner.

Mr Brisbanite, I say grab one of the last two; they look great. Just don't put it in the wash with your orange shirt. The thought of that orange shite with a beautiful Arsenal shirt ;)...

Would love to see Steve Bould as assistant manager. No excuses for poor defensive organisation now!

Lots of talk that we have secured the signing of Yann M'Vila, to be announced after the West Brom game(ie after the season ends, not straight after the game ). And this is from people who are trusted, not ones to regularly spout of shit about potential transfers. This may not come to fruition, but looking positive at the moment.

Also this signing would apparently not be dependent on Champions League qualification

Never wanted a particular transfer more than this :D
Seems like he really wants to come to Arsenal specifically which is great, even may have turned down Man United. It's the most logical signing after Podolski too, given that we don't have any real holding mids anymore.

Also Junior Hoilett rumours are just as strong. Another excellent free signing to give some depth and competition on the wings. Probably puts the Matias Suarez rumors to bed though (unless RVP is leaving).

That white one and the Yellow and redcurrant away of 10-11 are mine. Never liked the combination of yellow and blue. But no kit in the world compares to our standard home kit to me.

Given that we seem to celebrate every 5 years with a modded kit now, I'll bet anyone 1 million dollars that our kit for 2016 will be the standard pattern but with redcurrant torso instead of red (keeping the white sleeves). Any takers?

Nice signing. 22mil euros, so about 17.5mil pounds. Not cheap, but he should do well.

Not cheap, but for a 21 year old French international with a fuckload of talent and potential it's not exactly expensive either. Really will be over the moon once it's confirmed, but won't be getting my hopes up until then.
