As if the derby win wasn't good enough, the night was made even better with results elsewhere, with all the teams ahead of us except for West Brom and City losing.

I went to the game yesterday and was the best £125 I've ever spent. Just amazing.
Being on holiday I didn't mind paying that much, but it's a bit steep for the locals I think,even if there aren't many category 'a' games.

Also good to see the fans really taking a liking to Giroud, at half time the Giroud chant just kept going round the stadium :lol:

All my tickets to Old Trafford over the next few weeks are £50 each and that includes United v Liverpool, no wonder Arsenal fans complain about ticket prices.

In fairness Busby Babe, tickets in London were always dearer but this is getting stupid.

Are tickets really that expensive? That's $200AU. Like Busby I never paid more than 50 pounds for a game and I went to a few.

Arsenal play a few times while I am in London, so I will look into the possibility of tickets but not expecting anything. Do any of you know what the chances are of walk ups getting a ticket at the Emirates.

Of course. Imagine living there and trying to pay for tickets though. How can people afford to shell out that much weekly, and then there's the other competitions to consider. Arsenal have always been a level headed club but I have noticed that their upper tiers are only about 80% full. As competent business people they should understand that if you drop the price 20%, the stands will fill up and likely develop relationships with future fans.

They probably buy a season ticket.

Busby, not sure if by walk ups you mean at the box office or not... but all the games I've been to, even Saturday's, there's been people selling tickets directly outside arsenal station. I'm not sure how legit they are though.
