It's the January transfer window, anything we did was always going to happen in the last week or so not before.

Talk about M'Vila has popped up again after Rennes confirmed that they've received a new bid from an English club.

Apparently Diame is taking West Ham to FIFA over his release clause so he can join Arsenal. In all honesty, would he get much game time?

Yeah Diame would get a fuck tonne of game time if we continue with Jack pushed further forward.

Three points are mandatory here. Apparently we've also made a 10m pound bid for Villa.

So apparently Diaby is fucking injured again. With Coquelin out aswell, rumours are that Vermaelan will play in midfield.
If we dont make any signing this January, we're pretty much guaranteed to miss out on 4th imo. Although missing out on CL football might not be the worst thing for this club.....

I'm not so sure about that. With Wenger's "fourth is as good as a trophy" thing, it's almost certain that the club would be doldrums bound for years.

Really loving what Giroud brings to our lead up play, and thought Ramsey was silently brilliant tonight.

Great to have a performance where we are good from start to finish.
 17 shots on target.
That's the 7th time we've scored 5 goals or more in a match this season.

 This is just ridiculous. In the last 8 games we've scored just 3 first half goals, but we've scored 15 2nd half goals.

Geoff was saying that we are aiming higher than Diame but mightn't make it happen this window

Slow start but Olivier is starting to seem like he could be the real deal if he continues to improve and adapt to the league. A shame we can't play Theo up front too because he's absolutely on fire. Although a little inconsistent, Podolski has exceeded my expectations as well. If only the back half of the field looked as impressive as this... bypopulardemand wrote:Geoff was saying that we are aiming higher than Diame but mightn't make it happen this window Sounds like Wanyama =p~ Diame would be a decent signing too and better than nothing.

The difference between how we can play, and how we normally play is frustratingly huge.

That goal line clearance he made, for me, was the highlight of the night from him.

That's how footballers should respond to criticism. The goal line clearance showed his potential as a captain and leader. He took responsibility for it and was willing to go through Vermaelan, was fantastic to see. I'm not getting hyped about the performance overall. This is one we should be expecting against a team that really struggles away from home. It bodes well for the future but consistency is now the key.

Yep, you can say a lot of things about Rambo, but one thing you can never say is that he goes hiding. No matter how bad he may be playing he is always looking to receive the ball and always looking to move forward. Also agree about the performance, in the end I think it was just fun to smash a Big Sam team  Was also fun to see some of the old Arsenal back in that 10 minute period after HT. Some of those goals we scored were just incredible. Great to see some of the pace and incisiveness we've said has been missing for a while.

Love our ability to randomly explode with good football and goals, shame we don't do it that often.

That is where Arsenal are currently trapped though, quite a few players earning decent money not good or motivated enough to make the first team, that's why Wenger is stressing quality at the moment.

'The number of players you are allowed to sign should be limited' - Arsene Wenger.
Fair point.
