Dont see see Klopp coming here as it would be a backwards career step for him really. Guardiola will almost definitely manage in the premier league eventually and is apparently very fond of Arsenal. Maybe in a few years if the stars all allign when both his and AW's contracts are up it could happen?

We don't have an "Arsenal way". David Moyes imo would be an excellent fit for Arsenal. Tight defensively, going forward they play an exciting game. If you've ever watched direct teams like Stoke, and to a lesser and more entertaining extent, United and Spurs, they move the ball quickly, they get it wide and they get numbers into the box. We seem to play at half-pace all the time. It's boring to watch. Agree with you Funky.

Carlos Vela has revealed that Arsenal are scouting him since they still have a option to buy him back. He looks like he's improved in the last 2 years. This year he's got 10 goals and 5 assists in 21games. I'd take him over Gervinho, at least you'd back him to finish a chance.

I agree that Moyes would be good, but he's not going to push the board to allow big spending any more than Wenger is. Disagree that our style is boring to watch. I think that might just be the frustration talking. No EPL team is more entertaining to watch than when Jack, Santi, Theo, Podolski and Giroud are at full stride.

If it came time for Arsene to go at the end of this season it just so happens that Moyes is available at the end of this season.
As for Moyes not pushing the board to spend money. After years of not having any money I think he'd relish the opportunity to be able to spend some and have no doubt he'd push the board for funds.

I tend to agree with Ken here I too think we are boring to watch a lot of the time. That's because we never seem to play at a fast tempo! When we do,which is about 10-20% of the time, we are the best team to watch in the league. This just never happens so its extremely frustrating and hard to understand. Surely they can recognise when they play at a high tempo, they rip teams apart. Oh well.

Probably part of it is just that the lower teams know they can just park the bus and it very often works against us. That always makes for a boring game.
But when we play against opposition that try to take it to us, we are the most entertaining team to watch IMO.

Exactly. If we're not playing at a fast tempo Neanderthal, we're passing it around a brick wall. All the top teams have to deal with it and all the top teams do deal with it with fast paced football. This slow tempo stuff is painful to watch. Even the commentator was talking about how Arsenal have to move the ball quicker. Arsenal are not a particularly good team to watch any more. If you disagree, you should watch a few games involving the likes of United, Liverpool, Tottenham, Swansea, Norwich, Wigan, West Brom, Newcastle, Everton, I think all these sides are playing more entertaining football than us at the moment. David Moyes actually does use slightly underhanded tactics when trying to persuade the board to part with their cash. Sadly, that may well be the reason why we won't see him at Arsenal but we know they won't get rid of Wenger.

Yeah they won't be getting rid of Wenger we can pretty much guarantee that, but if he were to decide to leave at the end of this season Moyes would be my first choice

Sadly the board are so entrenched that they rather destroy the club before letting Wenger go. Where usmanov ? Hardly heard from him lately: lol: . How can a guy who is way richer than Roman not allowed to have a say in the club?

Because Usmanov can't much if no one is willing to sell their shares.

Would be gutted to lose Moyes, but the reality is a club will come and take him soon, and in all honesty Arsenal would be my preferred choice for him. I'm not sure how he would handle the ego's at City, or the pressure of replacing Ferguson at United, or having to deal with Abramovich at Chelsea (assuming he was given the opportunity at any of them). Arsenal's wage structure makes me think the ego thing might be less of a problem than at the others, and people always use the claim that he couldn't deal with big name players when they talk him down for the big jobs.
You would become a great chance of getting Fellaini as well, although I'm not sure how he would fit in if Wilshere is playing further up forward (haven't seen a gunners game for a while).

After eight years, reserves of faith are running low. Bayern Munich 3/10 easily favourites to knock Arsenal out.

Wenger raging in full on the BBCDoes look like the pressure is getting to him. I think he was within his rights to respond angrily to the contract talks if it is entirely false but it seemed like he had a bout of paranoia for the rest of the conference. It was like he thought everyone was against him. Did he really need to have a go at somebody for looking at him? Then he was slamming that woman who I thought was trying to be nice. Hmmm...

Rumours are growing that Arsenal are going to release a charity single after Arsene Wenger stated he believes the club can make the top 4.

Interesting to see Gervinho apparently axed from the squad altogether for tomorrow.
Could also see a defensive reshuffle with Koscielny struggling to be fit. So with Nacho cup tied and Gibbo still injured it would mean TV to left back, Jenks to TB and Sagna into the middle next to Per.

He had every right to have a go at the media in that press conference. Don't think the woman was trying to be nice either. Maybe, but when I heard it the first time and given the mood, I took it the same as Wenger basically questioning if he had the desire to even win silverware.

Vermaelen looks about 50% at the moment.
Oh, and Piers Morgan, what more can be said about the guy.

Result is obviously shit, but wasn't anywhere near as bad as I thought it would be  We just came up against Arguably the form team in Europe. Can't fault the players efforts really, and if that Giroud chance goes in to make it 2-2 who knows what happens.
