We do it occasionally, just have never done it consistently.

 Who remembers how upset some people were when Inter beat us to the signing of Ricky Alvarez after it looked like we were all set to sign him. Bullet well and truly dodged.

With him and Eisfeld pushing through our AM stocks look quality =p~ =p~
Edited by jlm8695: 10/4/2013 01:09:40 PM Seen this too many times - so many so-called 'wonderkids' coming through and going on to be bench warmers in the championship.

(Wages from sources in the media) Add to those wages the 15-20 mill we could get for these players, there really is no excuse to not invest into the squad this summer.
*Making the assumption that we will be able to sell these guys. Won't be able to sell the while they're on those wages mate. To be honest, there's been no excuse not to invest for a few years. I think defensively we've gotten stronger, we're willing to drop and regroup when the situation demands it. My biggest gripe with the team. Also interesting to note how the midfield won the ball on a few occasions, a few times we had three or four players crowding out the one West Brom player and making it impossible for him to pass. I don't particularly remember us hunting in packs like that for some time and it takes a lot of skill and fitness. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/andrey-arshavin/profil/spieler_15378.htmlhttp://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/sebastien-squillaci/profil/spieler_5293.htmlAt least a couple of contracts are ending

Some thoughts on the game:
-Gervinho is shit -Sagna has been terrible recently, directly responsible for the Norwich goal. -Ramsey tries his heart out, and again put in a solid shift. -Giroud's link up play is jizz worthy. = We look better with some pace.

Sagna wasn't the one responsible for Nowrich's goal. Pretty sure it was Koscielny who Turner just walked away from to head in unmarked.
I did have a good laugh at all the Norwich complaining about the penalty

From watching this, Sagna just stands their and watches him

But he does give Koscielny the slip initially, but still, not good enough from either of them, and I think on recent form Jenk's deserves to be starting.

Can't stand some of the sky commentators. Arguing that because a player doesnt fall over fast enough it isnt a penalty? Or the linesman was further away than the ref, so cant make the call?

I loved them going on and on about the penalty, was a good laugh  I mean they're happy to criticise the officials when they make the right decision, but don't criticise when they make the wrong one

Story by the Mail today again about how we're going to make a bid for Mario Gotze, but in the article it also mentioned how both Serge Gnabry and Hector Bellerin will be fast-tracked to the first team for next season. The most interesting part of the article however was a story about a 16 year old called Gedion Zelalem who has been training with the first team and made his U21 debut against Liverpool this past week.
Some huge wraps on him, and some talk he could make his debut in the League Cup next season. Interesting backstory though, he was born in Germany to Ethiopian parents and was discovered playing High School football in the USA

Imagine Cazorla, wilshere and gotze... enough to make a grown man cry. Saw some highlights on Gnabry, can score a pearler of a goal, apparently is amazing. We will see on all of them, as we've seen, academy prospects can be very hit and miss.

What you did do is take us out of the race for the top 4, so it's just a matter of who out of Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea misses out.

We deserved nothing from that game. Time to move on, but this top four business is no longer in our hands.

Rumored, core of Frankfurt offense. Top tier in dribble and ball trapping techniques. Mediocre or below average in goal scoring and cross ball. Impressive improvement in defense this season.
Left winger who can make football fun, bothersome nimble mouse for opponents. 'Graduates' of Culpi school along with Kagawa, Kiyotake and Kakitani.
