I'd like to see Jovetic, a DM, a RB and a backup CB. I wouldn't say no to an experienced GK to help Szczesny either.

The dream summer that we know probably won't happen would be

Jovetic
DM (Capoue or someone of that ilk)
RB (although this will all depend on if Sagna leaves or not)
CB (Wouldn't mind someone like Fernando Amorebieta who we've been heavily linked to)
GK (Someone like Rene Adler, very experienced and not expensive. I wouldn't be upset if we got Julio Cesar from QPR either)

Although DM and a backup CB could be done in one go if we got Capoue.

Only problem is, half of the world is after this kid. I guess we'll just have to see - I hope we aren't disappointed again.

I can't say the other centre-halfs we've been linked to such as Fazio, Williams, Kouyate and Dragovic really excite me that much.

Doesn't have to be an exciting CB really because I don't think we're looking at someone to come in and be a starter, we're looking for a back up. I'd love if we got Ashley Williams in.

what ended up happening with walcott re: position?

wasn't his whole fuss with his new contract focused on:
1) being payed close to 100k p/w
2) being played as a striker
?

he got his 100k (yeah?) but is he guarenteed more attempts at striker or have they knocked it into him that he's a winger now?

A Cesc returnn would be very welcome but he's not what turns us from top4 to title contenders... Defenses win championships and Szceszny and Jenkinson are not title winning quality... we need a commanding keeper to give the entire back 4 confidence.

Played some minutes at striker once poldi went off but quite often during the game poldi would come short into midfield and Walcott would push on and more central. Useless in the air ofcourse. Wouldn't mind seeing 3 pronged frontline of poldi, jovetic and Walcott next season with all 3 rotating between the wings and the central striking posy

Walcott playing cf has its benefits ,but having giroud is a better fit when playing a lone striker

I am really not a fan of Walcott playing cf. He can't pass or hold up play and it negates his only positive - getting in behind defenders.

Rumours that we have agreed a 170 million (pound), 5 year kit deal with Puma, commencing from the start of the 2014-15 season. In comparison, Liverpool currently has the best kit deal at 25 million per season. Also dwarfs our current deal with Nike, which was approximately 9 million per year.

Roars kits are the same basic puma template . They have got lazy and used the template to every team they sponsor .

There is one floating around, it's fairly basic, which is good. However, I have a feeling the red is a little too orange-y for my liking (keep in mind, it could not be real and I am colour blind ;) )
