Got to admit, I've never seen gonalons play before, but purely on a physical level, he'd add some height which is great. And this is not to judge a player, but by his fifa stats, he looks well rounded:lol:

Yeah that all depends on what one considers an 'error'. Although wouldn't surprise me if that graph is accurate. Vermaelen made 6 errors, I think it was, that led directly to goals, the most in the league.

Honestly I think it's a backhanded compliment of sorts. I mean we had the 2nd best defense in the league with that high a %. Just imagine how much better our defense would be cutting that % in half, which in all honesty would be pretty simple :lol:

What was interesting is that in the first 28 games of the season we made 37 errors which led to 14 goals. After beating Bayern Munich away in the last 9 games of the season we made just 2 errors which led to 0 goals. That is a ridiculous turn around :lol:

The article and statistics don't mean anything unless they're defined. You're basically making up numbers to support your contention.

Ok so on the Cesc situation. Here's what we do know

-We have first refusal on any bids for him
-We have a 50% sell on fee clause

What is being reported

-We also have a 25m release clause that was put in his contract for the move to Barca, which would explain why we sold him for less than he is worth.
-Apparently there is also a time limit on the release clause, which would explain why the club might want to get him now and not wait another year.

In the end I think if Cesc decides to leave Barcelona we are the ones leading the race to sign him, and I think there is way to much talk about it happening for their not to be something in it.

I don't think we necessarily 'need' him, but as if you'd turn down the chance to get him back. Would be a pretty big statement of intent imo. My only wish is that he isn't made captain if he comes back.

50% sell on fee is definitely 100% legit. The 25 million release fee to us is new, but is being reported by reliable "itk's"

95% sure Both were announced as part of the deal when we sold him, I know the sell on clause is 100% right

The 50% sell on fee works in our favour massively because it means any club wanting to buy him will need to shell out an absitely ridiculous fee for Barcelona to accept it since we get half of it.

Starting to make a lot more sense why we sold him for less than he was worth.

There is definitely a 50% sell on fee. This is not something new that has just came out to sell papers. It was widely reported at the time of sale.

You dont have to 'believe' it if you don't want to, I don't even know why your or Imno care, just the general consensus from Arsenal itk's (reliable ones, I believe it was Afcamden who first broke it when he was sold) that there is a 50% sell on fee and first refusal (although I believe the new reports about a 35m fee are bs)
