I'd prefer Arsenal win the EPL first.

An average team can have a lucky run and win the CL just as Chelsea did last year.
Winning the EPL sends a more powerful signal to the world about how good the team really is. Then we can chase the CL and it will be more dignified instead of being called lucky.

They are still established as one of the best teams in the world and serious contenders in every competition. Still going to be one of the favourites to win the EPL next year.

Second place in two competitions and a managerial change doesn't really constitute an absolute rabble in my book.

One thing that surprised me is just how well Higuain has done in Spain. He's got 107 goals in 187 league games and since making his debut in January 2007, only Messi and Ronaldo have scored more league goals.

Yeah supposedly he played so little due to political influences - Higuain was bought by the previous president and the current one bought Benzema, so they have played Benzema more often. I don't watch RM, so I can't really have an opinion on who plays better etc.

I think Higuain would be Wenger's best option given that:

a) Rooney's wages are simply too high

and

b) Jovetic just isn't that good for the price tag set

It really is very tiresome, hopefully AW can shut some mouths this transfer period and season. On the topic of transfers, I read about interest in Gundogan and Bender and I must say I'd prefer either of them over Fellaini.

Lars Bender would be a great pick-up, but he'll probably cost markedly more than Fellaini. Gundogan is going to be the best value for money there.

I will take criticism of the club, of Arsene of whoever, from anyone but him. Talks to much shit to be taken seriously. No doubt he makes some valid points, they are just outweighed by his bitterness.
