All depends on who the report comes from imo. If it comes from only of the Dails or the Sun then you disregard it, but it was the Guardian who were reporting about Higauin being set for a medical, so can't really blame anyone for taking it seriously.

Have to say I do love the Spanish press. AS yesterday morning were saying we had made no bid, then later that night they said we had upped our bid to 30m euros :lol:

They're only saying that because of a quote from yesterday suggesting that Liverpool not being in Europe this season was a contributing factor to Suarez's desire to leave.

In other news the touring squad for the Asia tour was announced yesterday. Only surprise is Gervinho not going, although he's out because of sickness I'd say it's more to do with him being allowed to talk to other clubs. Nacho and Santi not going isn't a surprise with their Confed cup involvements and TV is injured. Glad to see both Akpom and Zelelem in there. Both young guys who most wouldn't have seen but have very big wraps on them



Any other senior players (Bendtner, Chamakh, Santos etc) not in that squad is obviously down to them being on the way out.
