Once again Arsenals finances ≠ Wenger's willingness to spend.

Welcome back Mathieu, good to see you in an Arsenal shirt again. If you link up half as well with Jack as you did with Cesc, will be a very good signing.

But you would assume that if Assene came out and spoke of his war chest, he'd be willing to/have the intention of, spending some of it.

We all know how stubborn he is though, just look at Suarez. An extra 5mil and we probably would have got it over the line, Higuain as well. Wenger decides a valuation for a player, and doesn't budge. That process was fine whilst we were 'rebuilding' after highbury, but we cant expect it to work forever.

Still time in the window for us to spend money, it's not over yet.

Ah, still remaining hopeful. So what will come of arsenal fans on Sunday night when they have a) still not signed anyone of note; and b) lost the NLD at the emirates.

In any year where we may have a perceived 'weaker' group, it's usually offset by the teams we draw in the round of 16 :lol:

So hopefully this year, providing we make it out, we'll get some favours in the round of 16 draw.

Am I the only one who is actually looking forward to our Champions League group. If we don't make it out oh well, but with the games we've got we'll definitely have some fun along the way, and with 2 away games in our first 3 matches, some good results there and who knows what can happen.

Actually pretty confident we can get through, but will all depend on our away games against Napoli and Dortmund imo.

:lol: We've got a lovely little run to start November off. Nov 2nd - Liverpool(H), Nov 6th - Dortmund(A), Nov 10th - United(A)

Going into the draw I always want either the easiest possible group or the group of death, nothing in between. So I'm happy with the group we got, if we get through, great! If we don't, oh well. I wouldn't mind finishing third and giving the Europa League a real shake.

Yeah the wya I see it, if we go out at least we're going out to some fucking great teams and we'll at least enjoy some great matches along the way.

Finishing 3rd in the group wouldn't be a horrible thing, better than going out to fucking Barcelona in the first knockout round :lol:

Oh and at least we didn't get drawn with bloody Olympiakos again :lol:
