The rest of us keep waiting for Arsenal to pick up injuries to "hopefully" slow you lot down. Hasn't happened yet so the rest of us continue to look upwards.

Even as a staunch Yid it's hard not to be impressed with just how good your team is playing. The football is really good to watch, none of this park the bus horse-sh*t.

If this run wasn't broken up between two seasons I think people would be taking us more seriously now. It's nearly reminiscent of Barca/Real in La Liga.

But unfortunately a dip in form is overdue and I'm expecting it any time now.
City are still favourites IMO but I don't think Chelsea deserve to be ahead of us by the bookies.

Of course :lol: It is interesting because people forget how close you guys were to signing him, always interesting to wonder what might've been. Same with Ronaldo and how close he was to joining us.

:lol: everyone keeps saying they're waiting for us to pick up injuries, nevermind that West Brom and Villa are the only teams with more injuries than us at the moment. People seem to have completely forgotten about guys like Walcott, Ox and Podolski :lol:

As for our football, the thing that has impressed me the most is the way we are now able to play that free flowing attacking football, but also shut down a game and sit back and defend if we have to. It's something we've been wanting for years and now we can finally do it.

Actually really looking forward to Sunday. Feels like our first real 'big' game against United for a while, and big for both teams, for different reasons obviously.

Also some congratulations in order for Rambo who wins the clubs player of the month award for the 4th successive month.

I think we're all waiting for Ozil, Giroud, Ramsay and Per to drop ;) You can throw in Arteta, Kos and Gibbs if you're feeling generous :lol:

Yeah that period from about 97 to around 2005 was awesome, every single game was a must watch, and every game had these ridiculous moments. Such a shame you guys didn't keep Barthez around for longer :lol: :p

The one most people forget is the game that kick-started it all really, at Old Trafford in 1990 with the 21 man all in and pts deducted for both sides :lol:

He had a decent partnership with TV, it's just him and Kos have been so good together. Kos and TV together is the problem.

And yeah Kos has been called up, it's a shame that Flamini got injured, apparently there was a good chance he would've been called up had he been fit.

Yeh, later tonight or tomorrow going to post a few videos, that was one of them. It went both ways though, we pretty much had the same amount of ups and downs against each other. I honestly couldn't pick a favourite from our side. Giggs in 99 (and the penalty save earlier). 49 and out etc but would probably go for the 4-2 at Highbury.

I think the main thing which made the rivalry what it was, that now and usually, it;s about the clubs playing each other, the fans have history etc, during that time with United and Arsenal, it was a simple as the players hated each other.

Like United v Liverpool now, a lot of the players are good mates.

Yeah that's what made it so special, you really got the feeling that both groups of players, even the ones who were international teammates, hated each other like nothing else.

Don't get me started on the game that eneded our 49 game run, will never ever forgive Rooney for that night :lol:

That 4-2 at highbury is always pointed out as the sole reason they should bring back cameras in the tunnel pre-game :lol: It's a shame today though you'd get nothing like that happening. Then you had Almunia chasing Giggs out to the fucking corner post, and of course getting chipped by fucking John O'Shea :lol:

Ashley Cole gave away a clear penalty against Ronaldo that wasn't given, it evened out :lol:

Yeh, that tunnel incident, could watch that and the highlights all day.

Worst moments for us, were probably Overmars' goal and Arsenal winning the title at Old Trafford.
