Berba is a classy player that could do a good stop gap job but it would be a huge culture shock after the mammoth work rate that Giroud offers.

I don't like Berba simply because he would be nothing more than a stop gap, to short term for me. Much rather us go for a player who could really shake things up, and I don't think we should care if they're cup-tied for Europe, as long as they help us potentially win the league is all that matters.
That being said, we could do worse than Berbatov as a back-up striker.

Some talk that Gedion Zelalem, who's been training again with the first team lately after returning from injury, could make his first team debut against Sp*rs tomorrow night with Jack to be rested.

Would be interesting to see, kid clearly has some kind of incredible natural ability, however, he really physically is not really. He is quite tall at 6'1, but I'd estimate he'd weigh about the same as Sandro's left leg and he could really struggle physically to get in the game.

He'd create history as the first Arsenal player to make his debut having been born after Arsene came to the club.

Özil is training with the team so would assume he will probably be involved tomorrow, whether it be on the bench or starting. Most interesting thing out of training today though is who is back at the club :d

Just watching a replay. Literally a faultless performance. Only downside is the injuries of course, and with the news that Bendtner will be out for 4-6 weeks I can't see us not buying a striker, just to have an extra body if nothing else.
Most impressive thing last night was Serge Gnabry. Fuck me this kid is special. Was expecting good things from him this season, but not to be this good in the few appearances he does get. Really looking forward to the future with him and Ox playing together.

Unconfirmed reports that Tim Sherwood was seen doing a knee slide as Rosicky put in our 2nd goal. Arsene Wenger making one special fans dream come true :p Edited by sydneycroatia58: 5/1/2014 08:16:49 PM

If Theo gets any kind of sanction for the 2-0 thing from the FA I am going to fucking lose it.

Was just thinking about the RBBQ last season where the salad plate was used for the fake Premiers Plate..
Has anyone ever seen a fake trophy for St Totteringham's Day? Would be hilarious if one existed, or if there's a design (or heaps of designs) for one out there. Anyone seen anything like that?

Honestly, I remember his whinge when he had to shake more than the managers hand (can't remember exactly when or who Le Arse were playing)but his rant was hilarious. Is it such a problem to shake 4 or 5 hands? Maybe it might ruin Arsene's delicate hands?

Clive Allen had a cry when Arsene didn't shake his hand because he didn't think it necessary to shake every single person on the benchs hand. Poor Clive's been angry ever since we sold got rid of him in the same summer we bought him without ever playing a competitive game for us.

Hotsperms fans have brought the game into disrepute by throwing coins & their club should have points docked. The only logical conclusion
