Yeah no way Debuchy would come in as anything less than first choice.

I know he is a good RB but in big games over the last season, he got turned inside out most games (maybe I just have my blinkers on from when has struggled against us). I know playing for Newcastle doesn't help and he will be far better off at Arsenal or any big club but to be challenging for the title or wanting to do well in Europe, you would think you would have higher quality RB. Hard to replace Sagna straight away though and he could be a decent short term option.

Yeah Sagna is much better, hence why he's France's starting RB.

He'll be first choice , because even though Jenks is a born gooner he is waaaaayyyyy to raw to be first choice .

Well to be fair, Nasri is a decent little player but he chose the squad that suits him and his players, not just the best players.

In terms of better RB's. If you want someone with EPL experience he's the best option that's realistic.

And from that squad he still chooses to play Debuchy and have Sagna on the bench.

Yeh, he obviously thinks he gives more to the team than Sagna. We are just talking on who we think is basically the better player. The way you guys have rated Sagna in recent years, you can't just say Debuchy is better now. I'm all for seeing positives in a transfer, hell, I eventually got excited about Fellaini but I personally would be hoping for a stronger first choice.

He could very well suit Arsenal down to the ground and make the loss of Sagna insignificant.

There's a difference? Better players give more to the team. All you can judge a player on is what he gives to the team. How else do you judge them?

Messi, one of the best in the world, would he give more to West Ham than Carroll would? Would Ronaldo have improved the Barca team under Pep?

Nasri was dropped or left out due to his personality from all reports, doesn't change his quality as a footballer.

Again, I'm saying it's a very good signing, I would have taken him at United but I just think for a side wanting to do well in Europe and win the title, from what I have seen from Debuchy, I would prefer a better player as first choice. It's not a bad signing at all.

Do not want Khedira no matter what the cost. Headless chicken that spends more time in the opposition's box than he does trying to defend. Schneiderlin is probably #1 for me.
