Just browsing through the dotcom and would really love to know what the fuck is going on with Johan Djourou. Most places seem to suggest he has gone to Hamburg permanently, but he is still listed in the first team list on the Arsenal website, albeit in our old home kit. He is also listed in the first team squad on Hamburg's official site.

This from the same publication that has been claiming Ospina as a done deal for the last fortnight

If you're genuinely believing anything the Metro says you're dumber than you look.

Just read that article and I really don't think we're looking for another striker like he suggests.

Does Wilshere have the physicality to anchor the midfield?

I love Jack to death, and want him in my team forever, but I can't see him lasting an entire season injury-free ever. The way he carries the ball and plays the game and just generally holds himself invites the opposition to scrap at him, niggling him all the time. There's only so many times you can receive a kick to the leg in a game before your leg gives way. Maybe being forced to sit a bit deeper he'll receive less of this, but I'm not sure.

Imo Flamini is the best DM we have. No argument. His only prob is his card-a-game habit otherwise he would start DM for me every week.
I think AW has realised that Jack is 4th or 5th choice for the other mid roles and the fans love him too much for him to be considered a transfer option.

Surely Wenger can't be thinking like that. If a player isn't in a managers plans, he will let him go regardless of what the fans think.

He doesn't just drop anyone. How long has he persisted with Diaby, how long did he withstand Ramsey, etc? If he sees the potential, and the guy fits into the club culture, he's nurtured. I'll be insanely, insanely surprised if Jack ever leaves the club. I genuinely feel like him and Jenko would play for no money if they had to, just to stay.

There is standing by a player if you think he will come good but if the manager has decided a player doesn't have a role to play, he surely has to go. We had the same thing with Nicky Butt and Phil Neville for example. No one wanted them to leave but it got to a point where we had players ahead of them and they had to move on.

Yeah, I just can't see Arsene letting Jack go. Particularly to a rival, which I would imagine is where Jack would head to as he's good enough (note: when I say rival, I mean the other 5 or so clubs keen on a top four spot in England too).

Jacks only 22, if he's still in and out of the team in 3 years time then maybe it might be time to try somewhere else. But there is no way Arsene would even slightly be thinking about letting him go anytime soon.

I was saying Wenger wouldn't keep him just because the fans would be sad to see him leave.

I can't see how he's 4th or 5th choice. Imo he's 2nd choice behind Rambo in that role and probably 3rd behind Özil and Santi for the AM role.

Yeah depending on the game Jack is first choice off the bench for about 4 positions.

So apparently that story about replacing Arsene's coffee with gravy isn't true :(

Just read a rumour that Milan want to give us Balotelli in return for Joel Campbell plus cash.
The rumour wasn't overly credible, but just thought I'd see what everyone else felt about doing a deal like that? Would we be crazy to give away Campbell? Is Balo's personality not worth the hassle for any player/cash? Would Campbell + £5m, £10m, £20m be reasonable in your opinion?

Callum Chambers, absolutely fantastic signing. Jenkins on out on loan or potentially our 4th choice CB As tough as it to admit this might be the end of him at Arsenal, unless Wenger sees him as a CB or Montreal leaves and Chambers backs Gibbs up.
Over the moon with his potential signing though, impressed me so much for Soto last season.

That said, if we end up spending 30 million on full backs and don't sign a holding midfielder I'll be pissed
