I am just about done with football  We need to spend some serious money on two players in January, no matter what we have to sign a CB and if one is available a DM.

 and now I check it on the 89th, and some hope is restored in life!
What is it with us and scoring in the last 5 minutes nowadays? Are we the new Manure? Did Fergie give us Wenger-Time?

That was throughly shit but we got through it and came back which was good.
Massive win in terms of the group because it means if we beat Anderlecht at home and assuming Dortmund beat Galatasaray in Dortmund we're almost guaranteed qualification.

Was good to get a win and even better to get a clean sheet. Performances still aren't there but not a huge surprise last night with the Miki/Flam midfield. Thought the back four looked good, even when Bellerin came on you never actually felt all that threatened by Sunderland. Also some credit is due to Monreal, usually the first to cop shit but he was great last night.
Can't say much that hasn't been said about Alexis, the guy is unbelievable. If we had a squad of players with the will and drive of him we'd be unbeatable  5 goals in his last 7 games and you still feel like he's only getting started. Cannot wait to see him and Theo together. Hopefully against Burnley.

So another one of those pointless tables that Opta does. This one is what the table would look like if only goals from English players counted. But there are some notable things about this one. One obviously being that we're on top, Chelsea and Hull the only two sides who haven't had a goal scored by an English player and we're the only side not to have conceded a goal from an English player.

Can anyone remember the last time we actually created a lot of good opportunities and had a good win?

Yep exactly, we still managed to get our goalkeeper sent off. I feel as though we just don't create the number of chances that we used to.

Also Mario Balotelli £16m - 0 league goals, Calum Chambers £16m - 1 league goal

Thank you for the fantasy points Mr Sanchez
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

Just embarrassing. Shouldn't be drawing at all with Anderlecht let alone letting a 3 goal lead slip. Fucking pathetic. I look forward to our annual exit in the first knockout round.
The worst part is because our group is so shit we're still almost guaranteed progression so nothing will change.
Genuinely terrified of what Dortmund will do to this defence in 3 weeks.
