He'll be back after a little time on the bench. Szc is the type who needs a kick in the arse to get his focus back

Debuchy could be out for 3 months it seems. FFS. On a weirder note, the league this season is weirdly similar to when we won the title in 1998

Arteta out for 3 months after ankle surgery. Means a new CM is 100% a necessity in January, along with a CB.

When Bale scores most of our goals we are a one man team, when Sanchez does it for you no one bats an eyelid.

What a bloody win. Cazorla I'd back to his first season form.
In 2 weeks we'll have a fully fit Ramsey, Ozil and Walcott to add to this side.

So maybe you can teach an old dog new tricks. Massive credit to Arsene, gameplay was executed to perfection. Games like this are also so fucking frustrating because you see what this team can do and wonder why they can't do it consistently.
I am now 100% convinced Bellerin is the man to replace Debuchy while he's out.
The last month has also shown that Coquelin has everything we've always wanted from a DM, and maybe just maybe we don't so desperately need a DM, at least not as bad as we need another CB.

As for Coquelin. Really could not ask for more than this away at the Champions who hadn't been held scoreless in 18 straight games and only failed to score in 2 of their last 78 home league games.
-87% successful passing rate (33/38) -1 successful take on -2/2 successful tackles -88% aerial challenges (7/8) -6 successful interceptions -11 clearances

Chambers isn't a RB so that's that solved, as for Jenks when he comes back it might be Bellerin who goes out on loan to get some top flight football like Jenks did this season.

Villarreal apparently want Joel Campbell on loan, which is meant to pave the way for us to get Gabriel Paulista coming the other way. He's apparently keen but a work permit could be an issue since he doesn't have an EU passport. Nicholas Otamendi is reportedly another option we're looking at.

Jamie Carragher having a go at players taking photos in the dressing room after the win against City has to be one of the funniest things this season

Spanish media are all over this Gabriel Pauilsta story. Never seen him play but Villareal's defensive record has been very solid this season.
The rumoured fee is million euros so we obviously rate him very very highly if it all eventuates.
WP is seen as an issue though.

Quote:If both Gabriel and the club believe that his sale to Arsenal is the best for all parties, we will accept That's from Villarreal's manager. So basically it's halfway done, just need to negotiate a fee and sort out the WP.

So that's Bielik done. Be interesting to see how much if any game time he gets for the rest of the season. I'd be surprised if he got anything tbph.
