Watched the game. Was highly frustrated.
The game seemed super scrappy, and if anything I thought Sp*rs were on top for most of it. Well at least it felt like in our defensive third, we just let Sp*rs run riot and seemed reluctant to ever shut down the ball once they got it over halfway.
I was celebrating Welbz's shot before Lloris saved it, I was so excited and confident it was going in.
Two major issues with their final goal is how much fxxxing time and lack of pressure we gave their guy to cross it, and also Laurent just watching Kane perform a Tim Cahill on him - it was embarrassing all round.
Santi was largely MIA for me, which was a huge surprise after the last month or two he has had. And where is Rambo, I swear he's a different player to what we saw last year.

Whenever you guys beat us you give us shit, which I don't blame you for, so if you beat us a few times in a row it keeps going. So basically our return is to give you as much shit as possible

My point is, Tottenham fans just act a little small time. It's just the vibe that people get from them, I don't know why but ask any opposition supporter. Regardless of how shit we are, we know where we stand, we are still the biggest club, that's not arrogant, it's just the way it is. After these types of win, which Tottenham are very capable of, the fans always seem to think it's a turning point but it's not, they are still nowhere near a discussion of being near the bigger clubs.

Yes you are the biggest club in England (not in the world though), but spurs are IMHO part of that elite group of clubs. We have a great history, and have been in the top 6 for a whole now. And discounting City, as they did it through giant sums of cash, Everton and Spurs are the only clubs to crack the 'big 4'. And Everton did make it into the CL in the end. And as for the point about us always thinking that it's a turning point when we beat a big club, that's not true at all. We know what we're like, we are beautiful in disappointment. We will eventually fail in a heartbreaking fashion, so while we get the chance we take the piss.

True but it keeps a lot of us humble. It also prevents a lot of us being the most arrogant bunch of c*nts in football. It's more fun knocking down the high and mighty than beating the little guys

I'm not sure why you guys seem to think that I thought it was a sign of a 'power shift' and a 'turning point' for us. As I said earlier in the season, I'm just enjoying this season and not really thinking 'Fuck we have to finish fourth'.

Wasn't really aimed at you, more just at the general reaction any time you beat us and it's by trumpeted as a sign of some power shift. This 'shift' has been going on for nearly 10 years and it just gets kind of boring.

Oh that's cutting  were doing ok considering, not too far away :). 5 points separate us to say 3rd, anybody's game. My laugh is purely just that you guys always put crap on them and IF you had won it would have been a fap fest as usual talking them down but no all quiet - some supporters sometimes have to accept a loss you can't win them all and give credit where credit is due, they came on to finally give it back and the reaction is like spoilt kids. I will admit I laugh more so now that going back to pre season you guys were fapping the trophy already but as its turned out once again you'll be fighting for the 4 with us spuds south and manu, you and all involved aren't guaranteed anything yet........ Power shift been brought up ? no, not with you or spuds that's for sure.

Yes because if there's one thing Arsenal fans are known for it's for pre-season league title expectations.

The good thing about Gabriel is he had hardly anything to do for most of the game, but when he was called upon he was excellent.
Was just good to see a good confident performance and to move on to the next round. As long as we draw anyone but Liverpool or United, assuming they make it, then I'll be happy. Bradford at the Emirates would be good though.

Anyone if we play at home. Anyone but Liverpool or Utd (if they make it through) if we are drawn away.

Would have rather avoid United, but fuck it, we owe the c*nts.
On another note, when Arteta was ruled out for 3 months it would have been pretty crazy to think that Flamini would be playing 2nd fiddle to Coquelin for basically the rest of the season.

To be honest, you probably have the media on your side for this one. Playing good football, getting results and we are not playing well and the obsession with van Gaal is growing.

Fuck em its United it is I can't agree with that at all tbh. What you've just described is exactly what the press have been saying about United recently, criticizing LVG and United's performances is the new flavour of the month for them.
