If we don't get cech ill be happy if ospina stays no1. Dont know why some people are saying ospina is older and we should get rid of him. Considering szc and ospina are near the same age

Will Cech EVER be finalised/announced?
More and more places are reporting we've done the deal for Vidal. It has certainly gathered momentum. What confuses me is what this means for our current midfielders - particularly Santi, Rambo & Jack.

As for Vidal, refusing to read into anything and getting excited

Wenger's reaction    Quote: Anelka: Vieira slapped me with his penis
Former Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka has accused Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira of slapping him in the face with his penis.
Anelka made the claims in his newly-released autobiography It's Not Me, It's Everyone Else with the incident occuring when the duo played together at Arsenal in the late 90's.
After missing an open goal in the Gunners' match against Fulham at Highbury, Anelka was confronted by an angry Vieira post-game.
"I knew I was in trouble, afterwards in the showers (Vieira) tore into me and I just snapped," Anelka wrote.
"I knew I shouldn’t have, but I called him a ‘lanky limbed boombaclart'."
Anelka recalled Vieira staring with 'hollow eyes' before the skipper committed the extraordinary act.
"Just like that he slapped me across the face with his penis. Just once. But it knocked me back a few steps," he wrote.
"It was like being struck by a wet salmon.
"Can you imagine how embarrassing it is to be smacked across the face with a 14″ pork sword in front of your team mates?
"It was the worst moment of my life."
The extremely awkward silence following the penis slap was broken by left back Ashley Cole, according to Anelka.
"No one said anything for what seemed like an eternity, " he wrote.
"The silence was only broken when Ashley Cole asked “Is it my turn?”
The 36-year-old, who now plays in India with Mumbai City, revealed what current Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said about the incident at the time.
"When Wenger found out what he’d done he merely high fived him and shouted 'And that’s why he’s the captain'," Anelka wrote.
The incident prompted Anelka to seek a move away from the club, eventually joining Real Madrid in 1999.

A Vidal-Ramsey pivot would be out of this world. Two of the best box to box players in the world.

The one thing that makes me wonder if there is something in this Vidal stuff is how this story has just stuck around for months. Usually a rumour comes and goes, but this one has stuck around like a bad smell for ages.

No idea if true or not but I read the guy who basically dropped the Alexis rumour is saying Vidal is happening now.

I lost count over how many times it was supposed to be a done deal according to South American sources.

Yep, I'm convinced it won't happen, but with how long the rumour has dragged on it just leaves that nagging feeling at the back of my mind  No time to worry about Vidal though, we still have to fuck up the Cech transfer first

Apparently a bit of a twitter troll.

Maybe we should start selling some of our youth we don't want directly to Asia, Ozykaup has apparently just joined Shanghai Shenua for 18 million euros

Doesn't Ramsay get shifted out to the right for Arsenal?

Ramsey scores more than Pogba, creates more than Pogba, tackles better than Pogba and does it in a stronger league. Pogba is a better all round player, but you cannot deny Ramsey's effectiveness and deserves to be in that tier.

Pogba would be a bargain at 60-70million. I think Ramsay's future is at Arsenal, can't see any team going for him but if City or a club like that did, it would be around 30m.

So do they purchase the red&white ribbons to go on the league trophy now, or do they wait a couple of months?

Can see why wenger wont buy vidal. He has gotten rid of bad influences in the club why would he take a risk on arturo?

Listening to the end of season Tuesday Club, Allan Davies was talking about the club silent auction night he went to and was describing what he saw of the chemistry of the squad. And what was particularly interesting was he said the English players sat on a table together, and the Spanish speakers sat on a different table. He didn't make a big deal about the apparent divide or whatever, but I read into it a bit. Anyway, he said that the Spanish speakers were getting along fantastically - heaps of jokes, laughter, etc. Maybe one reason Wenger would risk signing Vidal is to improve on the Spanish speakers happiness, to keep what I imagine is a close friend in Alexis happier to stay, etc. Just a thought. Also, Vidal is a freaking great player.

Cech is a ridiculous signing. In seasons past your defence and goal keeping has cost you. Last season your defence with solid and now you have a world class keeper.

Top signing for Arsenal. I don't think it makes you title contenders but it's a big step in the right direction.

You guys will be in contention this year for sure. Still will be tough to overtake Chelsea, particularly with your injury problems.

Also saw the open letter he wrote to Chelsea. All class this guy.
I sincerely hope Chelsea fans don't boo him when he starts in goal at Stamford Bridge. He deserves better than that.
