Definitely , although the luck in avoiding the send off side, he actually had a really good game.

Ramsey-Arteta
Ozil

Had us top of the league when they were for and playing our best football. No Sanchez then either.

Don't think we'll be seeing him replace Coquelin, at least not on a regular basis.

Definitely not. Coquelin plays far better in that role.

It all depends on who else you play in the middle. If it's Santi, then Coq is the best option, if you want Ramsey in there then Miki is the best option because Ramsey needs someone next to him who can sit and dictate play. Think we'll see a bit of both this season, provided Miki can stay fit.

I think Wenger is the only dickhead on the planet who thinks Le-Cock wasn't lucky to still be on the pitch before being substituted

You seem surprised that a manager would defend his own player? What's funnier is that it seems you actually think Wenger genuinely believes Coq wasn't lucky to not be sent off.

You can't defend the indefensible. Three cynical fouls and only 1 card. Away from home with home fans calling for blood. You have to expect a second card to come out. He was off seconds later so Arsene knew of course. Makes even more ridiculous.

Then again at least he didn't use his usual tripe of "I didn't see the incidents"

That was a stroke of good fortune but you were good for the win. Really open and entertaining first half. Probably the best I've seen this season.

I really hope Wenger makes the tough call and drops Ramsey against Liverpool. Coquelin to partner Carzola with Ozil as the number 10 and obviously Sanchez and Chamberlain on the flanks. I think it was really unfair of the Ox to be dropped last week considering he was one of the top 3 players in both the Chelsea and West Ham game.
I would also love to see Gabriel promoted into the starting 11 at the expense of Mertseker but that's highly unlikely with Wenger. He's one of those managers that hardly never makes a tough or big call like this.

I simply can't believe how fucking obvious it is for anyone except Wenger to see that Chamberlain should be starting on the right wing with either Ramsey or Ozil dropped to the bench.
It's so frustrating.

Let's be honest. Chambers was shocking all game even though he improved second half. Not that it would have been hard to improve.

Had less to do defensively in the 2nd half so that helped, but he did at least improve his passing in the 2nd half. Definitely behind Gabriel, no doubt about that now.

Gabriel, prticularly in the second half, seemed a bit of a liability to me. He does some rash things that I'm not sure he'll always get away with.

Anyone have the stats on time in opposition half, particularly in that second half? My word, it felt like Arsenal was camped in Liverpools defensive third, with Liverpool setting up a 10 man bus in their own box.

Also feel it's pretty clear we rushed back Sanchez a bit too quickly. Effort is there but just doesn't look that sharp at the moment. Although I don't think we'd have been able to stop him coming back even if we wanted to

Yeah he was onside. So close though so can't really blame the linesman. Such a shame though to waste such a good pass and finish

Both happy and disappointed. Happy that we didn't concede under pressure (TY Cech) but disappointed we scored a legitimate goal that was ruled out.

Genuinely can't remember the last time both Kos and Mert were out at the same time.

Yeah I mean considering the first half we were lucky not to be down 2 or 3 goals I will not be disappointed with a draw. Happy with how we came back in the 2nd half though.

Lot of people complaining about how drawing this game means we 4/9 pts, but that misses the point. This game isn't the problem, the West Ham one is. Win that like we should have and we're 7/9 and no one is complaining.
