Such an important win with all the other big teams winning. Always felt that as long as we didn't do anything stupid Watford were always going to drop away late.
Sanchez is just a machine.
Didn't think Rambo played well at all, but the one thing you can never accuse him of is going missing. No matter how bad it's going he's always there and always willing. Not much more can be said about Ozil, most assists so far in the league this season, but still nicking a living. Also think he had more chances created than the whole Watford team put together
For me though the one that impressed me most was Bellerin. Honestly, if you had said a couple years ago that this young right winger from Spain would go onto be our first choice RB and one of the best in the league atm, you'd have been locked up.

We should be up. Happy with the performance so far, think we can win it.
As ridiculous as that save from Neuer was, Theo shouldn't have given him a chance tbpf

I'd imagine the return fixture on the 4th to be vastly different. -PB

-PB We played as if we were the away team today, don't think it'll be that much different. We can definitely do them in Munich, and if we do we're suddenly in a position where we should go through top.

A draw would be a great result. Means we just have to win our last two games and we qualify

So typical of arsenal to win this game after the first two games... Great effort, but it should have put you top of the group on nine points...
Always good to see Bayern drop points.

Stolen of twitter  but it seems not even Guardiola and Bayern can stand in our way of getting knocked out in the Ro16
On that note, doesn't mean a whole lot obviously but last night we became the only side to beat both Guardiola's Barca and Bayern in the Champions League.

Good point made in an article on ESPN that we are quietly building a good, if not great big game mentality. Starting with the 2-0 against City last season, the community shield against Chelsea, even the loss against Chelsea we played essentially the same game plan as against Bayern, and it probably would have worked if not for Mike Dean. Then you have the United game and now Bayern.
What's most pleasing is that they're all approached in different ways, but that is of course not possible because Arsene doesn't adjust tactics based on the opposition.

The fact that he was a bit shaky in the first half (understandably so, against a guy like Costa) and then came back in the 2nd to overrun his opponent speaks volumes.

But the key is to make sure you're just as good at beating the whipping boys as you always were so that the net outcome is gradual transition further up the table.

Chamberlain making the wrong decision and then we get countered, who would have thought it.

Didn't watch the game, heard Gabriel played well which is good, was unlucky with the deflection for Barkley's goal. My god Ozil's cross for Giroud's goal, his 4th goal in 5 games and the 3rd straight match he's scored in.

Interesting run coming up. League cup this week before Swansea on the weekend and the return match against Bayern. Then we have the derby, after which we have a run of league games we should be aiming to win with the two games against Olympiacos and Dinamo sandwiched in there.

Well at least we know Debuchy and Campbell are getting sold in June.

I wanna care about the result, but I really just can't
The injuries to Ox and Theo are of much more concern. If either are out, especially Ox, for any period of time please for the love of God can Iwobi come in for Ox and not Campbell.
Also thought Bielik looked good when he came on, kid definitely looks like he has something about him.

So both Ox and Theo out until at least the international break it seems. Means they'll miss Swansea, Bayern and Sp*rs.
Would prefer Iwobi to get the start ahead of Campbell this weekend.

Closer it gets to KO the more worried I am it will be Campbell starting. We do at least have some options. Could start Iwobi there which would be the option with the least amount of shuffling. I do wonder if Arsene is at all tempted to play Debuchy at RB and push Bellerin further forward. Could also play Gibbs on the left and shift Alexis to the right, which would be more likely than pushing Bellerin forward imo.

Stocking up on Campbell FUT cards on the off chance that he has a good game
For the first time, but certainly not the last, I began to believe that Arsenals moods and fortunes somehow reflected my own. - Hornby
